Where are you watching the SUPER BOWL?

Mecca 01-29-2024 01:38 PM

My couch...

InChiefsHeaven 01-29-2024 01:39 PM

My basement with my kids and a few friends...or my garage because there will be smoking...either way, I'll be at home...for my 4th Superbowl in 5 years.

Surreal. It's almost feels like an annual event...

ThyKingdomCome15 01-29-2024 01:39 PM

With my Dad, we watched every game together this year. Being he's older these memories are priceless. These are the good times my friends.

Mecca 01-29-2024 01:40 PM

I ****in hate watching the Chiefs at a bar or somewhere like that, to much shit going on to pay attention. I don't mind watching other teams that way though.

smithandrew051 01-29-2024 01:42 PM

The Chiefs will be playing in the game imo

Very nice! Cherish those moments. I lost my dad literally 2 months before the start of Patrick Mahomes starting as the Chiefs QB. We had season tickets for years. Makes me mad he didn't get to be a part of this.

And you also hear some of the dumbest takes from loudmouths imaginable.

I don’t mind it on occasions or games I don’t care much about.

Not watching a Super Bowl like that though.

I only like it for big games and ONLY as long as they have adequate sound. I watched the AFC Championship we lost to the Bengals at J Rieger Co and they had no sound and little ass TV's. I fell for their marketing promises. Never again. Need to scout out the location before or go to old trusty locations you know the set up.

OMG!

My daughters boyfriend got into an argument with me during the first game of the year because he proceeded to tell me Skyy Moore was awesome. Then he got mad I didn't just let that fly.

Bwana 01-29-2024 02:18 PM

Well it sure as hell won't be Vegas!

How Much Are Super Bowl 58 Tickets?

The cheapest single ticket currently available on Ticketmaster is listed at $8,145, and that’s before taxes and fees are factored into the cost as well. That ticket will get you a spot off to directly behind the AFC team’s end zone in section 325 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

By contrast, the most expensive ticket currently listed on Ticketmaster is at a going rate of $57,500, the only ticket priced above the $50,000 mark. That price can buy a seat in the eighth row of section C112, which sits right on the 50-yard line of the NFC team’s sideline.

Womble 01-29-2024 02:29 PM

At home. In the UK it's the one game a year that you just don't want to watch in a venue/bar because the majority of people there don't have a ****ing clue about the rules and it's just an excuse for a night out on the piss. In fact they're quite proud about not knowing the rules and they'll be a load of people cussing the sport and being disruptive.

I've watched playoff games in bars in London and everyone there was a pretty big NFL nut and it was great. But I'll never watch a Super Bowl in public.

Megatron96 01-29-2024 02:42 PM

At my place with several friends. Becoming a tradition. Scho, you’re invited again if you don’t already have plans.

Just me and the wife at home.

Parties are great when your team isn't playing, but are distracting AF when you wanna lock in on the game.

I could give two ****s what people think about commercials rattling on through the first 3-4 plays from break. **** right off with that shit.

Game.

Food.

Invited my neighbor over yesterday. He loves football and is great to watch with. Then his wife shows up and our wives get real chatty about insurance of all things. Well I guess I slammed the door a bit too hard on my way to the bathroom. When I came back they agreed to keep it down.

Got my point across.

I watched us lose the Super Bowl vs Tampa with a bunch of non Chiefs fans. Just SB watchers. You know the type. I didnt even want to go tbh. Never again. At least if I go to a Chiefs watch party I know everyone will be into it

Yeah one of my girlfriends friends was mad at her because we didn't invite her out to watch the AFC Championship game this year. She doesn't know any players on the team outside of Mahomes and Kelce or any rules. Talks about commercials and shit unrelated to the game. I can't even.

I mentioned in another thread that I live around a bunch of new 9er fans due to the Purdy AZ connection. They've all been lighting fireworks after 9er wins in the playoffs so I'm going to detonate the loudest mfer I can get my hands on after we whoop that ass

Sorry to hear that. One of my best friends died very young right after the first Superbowl, and I've always been glad he at least got to see that one. Guy was a HUGE Chiefs and he would do the worm to perfection after TDs. A relic from the old Johnnie Morton/Trent Green days.

I don’t usually watch big games with a bunch of other people but I had an absolute blast at Hi-Dive on 39th watching the Ravens wins. We all said we had to run in back for the big game.

Rain Man 01-29-2024 10:27 PM

We're almost at the point where I can watch a Super Bowl with another person. My wife has historically dropped in to visit, and she's been a good luck charm this postseason, watching all of the games with me except the one that the NFL and Peacock didn't want anyone to watch. But she has a prior engagement for part of the game, so I'll assume that our past method of me watching mostly alone will suffice again.

This is the way. The first AFCCG we won I threw a party. I went to the Cheatriot one we lost so it was my first time. Give me a break. If you throw a party, you can’t pace nervously or let a **** fly without violating some social norms. I’m much more chill these days after winning 2 rings following 25 years of not winning a playoff game, but still. The game is too important. Party isn’t very fun for partygoers if the host is singularly focused on the game.

ChiefsHawk 01-30-2024 06:38 AM

At home with the family. Its always hard enough with 3 3 years olds running around so I don't want to tell other people to stfu.

kstater 01-30-2024 06:46 AM

At home with wife, stepson and the month and half old watching her first. I'm sure my wife will invite her sister and their demon spawn, but their kids usually leave the room by kickoff or first drive is over.

With my wife, son, nephew and his wife, and their new (4 weeks old by game time) baby. We just had a remodel in our basement to add a theater room with a 100" projector that I have yet to watch a Chiefs game on. Looking forward to meeting my great nephew for the first time and holding him as well as enjoying a Chiefs Super Bowl victory.

I totally get sitting in your favorite recliner and drink as much as you want and not worry about it.

I was a season ticket holder before I moved here. Once down here I wanted to watch the games with my fellow Chiefs fans. Now, it's so much fun to share this golden era of Chiefs football with my fellow fans, I doubt I'll ever go back to staying put in the comfy recliner.

RunKC 01-30-2024 10:47 PM

Same setup as last year. The girls (my wife and sister in law) get to do whatever they want Saturday night while we watch the kids. Super Bowl Sunday at noon the ladies watch the kids for the rest of the day and me, my brother and my dad will go to Q39 and eat our faces off.

Then we'll go back to my dad's in his man cave, crack the beers and enjoy it all all. My 8 year old son will probably only stay through half but he already loves Mahomes.
