Spoiler!

kysirsoze 03-19-2024 09:37 AM

Good call to not try and follow Mahomes at QB. Just move on.

BWillie 03-19-2024 09:39 AM

Should follow around Kadarius Toney

Shit would be hilarious

DJ's left nut 03-19-2024 09:40 AM

Yeah - that's a pretty smart decision. And opens up a new pool of perspectives as well as personalities.

Bearcat 03-19-2024 09:40 AM

At first glance I didn't see the 6th receiver and wondered if it was Trindon Holliday.

kysirsoze 03-19-2024 09:41 AM

They can't afford Kelce.

KCUnited 03-19-2024 09:43 AM

Keep sleeping on Justyn Ross

The Franchise 03-19-2024 09:45 AM

I’ll definitely watch it.

comochiefsfan 03-19-2024 09:47 AM

Can’t wait to watch the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl again from the losers’ perspective.

Sounds like Manning couldn't find any QBs willing to do it.

TambaBerry 03-19-2024 09:58 AM

Kittle is so lame, he's going to be this years Mariota

God I'm looking forward to "Edge" and watching Nick Bosa fingerpaint.

That is a damn fine point, sir...

The Franchise 03-19-2024 10:01 AM

They should have saved Kittle for the next series in line. “Blocker”.

Raiders lead the division after week 1: "ERMERGERD the league is rigged for the Receivers documentary!!!!"

Lions and 49ers have the best record in the league in October: "ERMERGERD tell me this shit isn't rigged!!!"

ToxSocks 03-19-2024 10:18 AM

No Chiefs? Won't watch.

Well yeah. I mean Mahomes doing it and going MVP, SBMVP is a pretty tough act to follow.

I came in here to post this exact same thing. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title.

I thought this was going to be an edging joke about his head coach taking him to the superbowl but not letting him win.

Ebolapox 03-19-2024 10:57 AM

travis kelce heard reality tv and noped out immediately

Womble 03-19-2024 11:00 AM

Quarterback had a shitty Mariota getting cut, Ned Flanders overachieving and Patrick being the GOAT. Essentially Quarterback had a bit of everything.

What this show will have is 6 guys who've all had good individual seasons. The only bit of contrast really is that Devante and Jefferson are playing for garbage teams. It's been suggested already but what they really needed was a Toney type shitty idiot WR to at least make it not so samey. Hell, they could have followed Tyreek impregnating a dozen women whilst his house burnt down. Bland as shite this lineup is.

Ebolapox 03-19-2024 11:01 AM

can't wait to see kittle's super bowl reactions that we didn't hear in mic'd

Mecca 03-19-2024 11:16 AM

It's so weird how many guys don't wanna do shows like this, all that extra exposure almost always equals money.

I love Kittle. His quotes and reactions are hilarious to me. He's always so happy and in a good mood. He'll probably say something like "Wow, they are so good. Can you imagine being on a team like that? Wow."

No way man, he'll be back with a vengeance yet again just this time it'll be 1 catch for 3 yards.

Rain Man 03-19-2024 11:57 AM

There are no Chiefs. Why are there no Chiefs?

Seanathon 03-19-2024 11:57 AM

Toney didn't have enough time on the field to fulfill his slot on this. The world is grateful. I don't want to see him on screen again unless its returning a punt.

InChiefsHeaven 03-19-2024 11:59 AM

Kittle is the token white dude. As a tight end not even a receiver.

They were like..."Ok, we need a white guy. Any white guys that are good receivers? No? How about tight ends not named Travis Kelce. Kittle? PERFECT!!"

FloridaMan88 03-19-2024 11:59 AM

False advertising since Kittle is a blocking TE.

The Franchise 03-19-2024 12:09 PM

It would have been interesting to see Puka's story but he obviously wasn't going to be picked before the season.

OnTheWarpath15 03-19-2024 12:33 PM

So who am I gonna fast forward past like I did Mariota?

Probably Davante.

Yeah, Kittle shouldn't be in there as a tight end. Give them their own show. I'm surprised the producers didn't think ahead of time to know that there are only maybe 15 shows possible based on position.

For WRs, the best combo would have been:

1. Hall of Fame-bound receiver. Maybe a Julio Jones on the tail end of his career.
2. Hot mess receiver who's good. Tyreek, of course.
3. Bust or semi-bust highly drafted receiver. Jerry Jeudy, perhaps.
4. Moderately rated rookie. Someone like Tank Dell.
5. Veteran depth receiver. Give us Justin Watson.
6. Perennial practice squad guy trying to hang on to the roster. Maybe Marquise Goodwin.

I still don't know why they chose Mariota. Everyone who has watched football before knew that he wasn't going to work out in Atlanta.

arrowheadnation 03-19-2024 02:10 PM

Wow…Mahomes is an executive producer on this.

Gravedigger 03-19-2024 02:13 PM

Good pivot by them, Quarterbacks wanted nothing to do with it, but Receivers love being the center of attention.

Pasta Little Brioni 03-19-2024 02:14 PM

So 5 Elite players? Stupid. I liked the diversity among talent levels of the QBs. Such different perspectives.

Isn’t that exactly why they picked him? They wanted the perspective of a player trying to win/keep a job as opposed to a star (Mahomes) and established veteran starter (Cousins). Worked well enough for me.

That's exactly what they were trying to do.

Agree. Don't understand the idea of taking a bunch of guys who aren't really worried about their spots.

Tyreek’s life would fill an entire series

If they show everything authentic/uncensored, then it will be interesting to see the drama that unfolded with Josh FatDaniels before he was fired from the Raiders.
