Only intrigue at the top is who is actually taking Maye.

In Veach I trust, would love to move up for a fatty!

Unless everybody in the media is getting it wrong, the Commaders are going Daniels, and therefore the Pats will get Maye.

I know. Heard the Giants, Vikings, and Broncos are all incredibly interested if Maye drops to 3 though.

Fair enough. Chargers are in position to make out like bandits then if enough teams want McCarthey then.

That's Penix for me. Had his season ended 4 times. In college. He's not durable enough for the NFL.

The problem ther is that the two teams other than the Vikings most likely to trade up are the Broncos or Chargers.

If you're the Vikings, you know they aren't giving a division rival a potential franchise QB, especially not the one that Harbaugh loves.

I think the Vikings might be able to get it for just their 2 1st rounders.

I think they could game the Giants into giving up some pretty valuable draft capital if they feel there's a significant dropoff between JJ McCarthey and Nix/Penix. That would still leave them in prime position to get whoever they desired.

I don't think there's any chance that pick is just going for their 2 1sts. That would be lambasted until the end of time and would be a fraction of what that sort of pick has warranted before. And these are 4 QBs that people seem very, very excited for.

I think they'd absolutely take the better trade to a team within their division OR just draft their BPA (Alt, Nabers, etc) than give up the pick for less than anyone would normally value it at. There might be teams willing to trade 2 1's just to get an Alt or Nabers, let alone a franchise QB.

I can't wait to see what Brent Vartch has up his sleeve.

I only looked at a few trade value charts, but it was actually plus value for the Chargers :shrug: . I don't think it would take much more if it would.

All indications are the Chargers will take a RT @ 5 if they stay put. If you're not taking Nabers, getting 2 1st rounders sounds a lot better than taking a RT @ 5.

I don't know why anyone is entertaining the Chargers trading Herbert thing (and I've seen it discussed multiple places). Even if it wasn't obviously stupid it's essentially impossible. The Chargers would take a massive dead cap hit that would force them to cut half the team. Not to mention Herbert has a full no-trade clause.

No one smart is entertaining that thought.
