We need a NSFMI (Not Safe for Musically Inclined) tag so I don't accidentally click on rap music.

There's so much potential with a move like this, but that felt like a soft ass old man made half an attempt, and failed. If it's not a soft intro into what's next, it's a big yawn for me.

He was doing the horns way before MGK, it's not a reference to that kid.

Have you ever intentionally listened to any eminem music? If not, I would find it amazing and educational to assign you 7 songs by this artist and ask for your opinions on the lyrics and a ranking, if you would feel like entertaining the opportunity.

I try to be openminded, so give me seven of his songs and I'll listen to them. My only rule is that none of them can be rap.

Brings back good memories. When I was in high school I downloaded all of his songs like a week or two early on Napster or Morpheus. Then sat outside an FYE and sold them until they ran me off.

What made Eminem Eminem was the fact he didn’t care what anyone thought, he would say the most controversial things. Today he would’ve been cancelled, major gay bashing, murder and sexual abuse references, and things you wouldn’t dream of saying out loud. He had to be tempered down a bit now, but still like him throwing some of that in this song again.

Eminem was dope, up until about 7.5 years ago.

It's fine. It's an enjoyable song, and Eminem's historical greatness is hard to argue. But it still just sounds like a tribute to himself and his old music, sounds the same. He doesn't have much dynamic range.

I was hoping to find Rain Man's eminem reviews in here when I saw it bumped.

I'll start soon. First I have to listen to a bunch of Springsteen and Boston and Fogelberg to build up my ear.

Stan is probably the best song IMO.

In fact, Eminem was so good on this track that Nas said "Eminem murdered you on your own shit" in a diss to Jay-Z. It wasn't even that Jay-Z was bad, he just got destroyed by the GOAT.

Em’s not my GOAT but agree on the second part. Tough to take these old rappers seriously when they’re rapping about shit they did (or saw someone do) 20-30 years ago. Marshall struggles because he was always edgy and that doesn’t work as well when you’re close to 50.

I guess rap can work well in old age if it’s more conscious but otherwise the genre is a young man’s game.

The older I get(mid-thirties) and still enjoy dick and fart jokes, the less I find anyone cringe because of age and immaturity. Society tells us to "grow up", but why? If you find it funny, put it out there. Some might too. Be yourself, regardless of age.

Lyrics aren't really music it's just somebody saying some s***. For example Kurt Cobain had some great lyrics but most of his music was s***.

Beastie Boys were awesome to the end. Hot Sauce Committee, Mix Up are fantastic.
