They're not even out of bed yet, but Mahomes has somehow already connected with Worthy for a 60 yard bomb

It would be big if Joseph realized his potential and played like a solid two with fringe one upside.

NFL really should expand the roster now that teams are playing a 17 game schedule and games are played on almost every day of the week.

On one hand it would nice if we found a diamond in the rough again with him, but on the other hand it's a little concerning he seems to be the early favorite when we have a few other guys that have been in the system for a while. |

Edit: he starts talking Chiefs O-lin at about the 19 minute mark. https://omny.fm/shows/the-program/h2...1-8d9eebddfa6d |
Weird how it seems people are jumping to the conclusion that Joshua Williams somehow suddenly got worse and/or fell out of favor over the offseason instead of looking at it like we simply brought in a good player who is giving him a run for the starting spot.

Noooooo. Nick Bolton is massively crucial to us. No more contact until preseason w him just have him do the walkthroughs. He knows the d like pat knows the offense

And honestly, that's to be expected. In a vacuum, how could Morris NOT be at least a little better than Kingsley right now? He's played in the NFL for a full season. This is his 2nd Reid camp. He's taken starter reps in key late-season games. Morris had damn well BETTER be playing better than Kingsley at the moment. But that doesn't mean he's going to get the starter's job. |
Quote:
LB depth was my biggest area of concern for this team. I think they can make due with a lot of 2nd tier flyer options at CB because we scheme 'em up. But LB just isn't something you can scheme really well and if Bolton's down, this LB room starts leaning heavily on UDFAs and limited guys (Tranquill's size, Chenal's agility). Bolton going down would be a real big problem. |
Quote:
Giving both of those guys plenty of outside run is a good plan. |
Can’t wait until the first time punt God smashes a punt 75 yards. We’ll all cum in unison

Hoping Bolton is ok. :grovel:

At least it's the elbow and not the wrist he had surgery on

You'll recall in 2014 that Eric Fisher got all the LT snaps (and then had some weird small injury in the preseason game) and then out of nowhere for week 1, Reid put in Donald Stephenson at starting LT and Fisher stayed at RT from the previous year.
I want Suamataia, and the coaches definitely want him to grow into that role and be the longterm starter, but don't be surprised if they do an unexpected swap. And if they do, all the chicken littles need to remember that this happened to Fisher in his SECOND season, and he still turned out to be a pretty good player. |

Kingsley will be the starting LT against Balitimore. They’ve made it clear it’s his job to lose.
Kids gonna be really good as he builds chemistry with Thuney and they work on communication regarding inside transition moves that he struggled with in college and had struggled in camp with, as well. The coaches are well aware of that weakness, as they are giving specific work detail to help him improve in that area. Kingsley gives this offense something Wanya doesn’t. Ability to move really well in space and get in front of the misdirection, sweeps, screens and other stuff Andy hasn’t been able to call as much with guys like Smith and Brown…but utilized a ton with Fisher. |
