Here's to Williams getting it all together and winning that other CB job. I like the idea of him being the CB opposite McDuffie and rotating in Watson and the different safeties we've got.

Cook has been on the receiving end on a number of these this camp.

I’d bet he’s a step slow from that ankle injury

He doesn’t seem to be fighting the ball and tracks/adjusts to it naturally

Solid depth, if nothing else..

It's a clear mismatch, but everything I've read about Cook says he's having arguably the best camp of anybody.

Mahomes is dialed in! Between these WR's and Wiley, man this is gonna be an exciting year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pacheco with a good block. 8 Ross and 24 Moore are the other receivers. 83 Gray is the TE.

If Wentz wins QB1, then we definitely have the best backup QB in the league

Also, apparently everybody in the organization thinks very highly of Wentz, and everybody's super impressed with his play and command.

It's almost as if the top notch coaching and front office of this team DID see the bad stuff from Wentz on other teams, but they just didn't give a shit about it because they were confident that Wentz getting a reduced role as a backup and being on a team with a positive winning culture would fix most of the problems.

Yeah I was glad to see as I haven't heard much about Bolton. It sounded bad at first yesterday.

I'm surprised he didn't say that it remains unclear if they'll be ready for the season opener.

Worthy is here specifically to punish single high safety. After that little fake to the right, #6 was Cooked.

Teams won't play that coverage a lot with this happening to them.

No reason to think this offense won't be absolutely lethal if the LT situation is manageable.

Guys are going to be open and open fast in this offense. A lot less pressure on LT.

Yep. And Thuney's health is critical to that side. That's really the only reason why I'm concerned about the LT position.

I respect the heck out of Chad Henne and he legit won us some ballgames, but Wentz will be the best backup Mahomes has ever had by a decent margin.

I've said this before, Wentz as the starting QB of this team for a full year would lead an 11-6 type season and a possible division win. With Reid, these weapons and this D, that's the absolute least I would expect.

I think the whole point of bringing him in was so we can make sure Mahomes is fully healthy come playoff time. We can't have him playing through injuries in the regular season and then hobbling into the playoffs again, it's just not fair to him. I think they'll be far more likely to sit him for a game or two if needed with Wentz sitting as the backup.

It was another big day for Justyn Ross apparently. But hey, it's wasted reps because "he has no chance" of making this roster folks say :D

Carson Steele is also making noise too now. Taking reps with the two's so that's one to keep an eye on i guess. Out of the udfa's him, Jacobs and Fabien Lovett have a big chance of making this roster as things stand.

Lastly Montrell Washington is having a sneaky great camp. His name has popped up more than Remigio and Moore tbh.

Remagio is in based on specials over Washington.

I'm sure there are already plenty of teams thinking they "should of" drafted Rice, suspension or not.

Obviously, it would depend on the circumstances, and I was referring more to if something happened earlier in the year. We could let him fully heal and not have to have him hobbling into the playoffs. Certainly if we're talking week 15 or something, that's a different story.

I'm just saying we actually have a backup who at one point in his career was considered an MVP candidate and threw for 3,700 yards and 27 TD while leading his team to a winning record his last full season as a starter. That's a very nice asset to have.

Where? Remigio is mentioned everywhere and Ross isn't as far as I've seen.

I honestly couldn't believe Lovett didn't get picked. After watching tape and after his combine performance, if someone would've told me he wouldn't get drafted I would've thought they were nuts.

That comment was about Washington. Remigio's name does come up a lot yes but that's including special teams stuff. In the 11-11 and 7-7 reps Washington has been making big plays and Ross has scored TD's and made big catches literally every day of camp.

He almost resembles a compassionate human being with retirement on the horizon.

Believe me, I totally get who Mahomes is. However, there will come a time at some point when the team has to protect him from himself again. Hopefully, he goes on a Brady type run of incredible health over the next 10 years, but it's just nice to have such a high end backup if anything does occur. That's all I'm saying.

Dude had the flu and played in high altitude, cold, snowy-ass Denver. Was even bleeding from his throwing hand i believe and still played.

It’s sad. I liked Justyn Ross before but I can’t bear the thought of your being right and happy so I now hope he casually falls into a volcano.

You ruined him.

That's why I was liking Ross to earn a spot on the team last year. For all the stuff about his lack of twitchiness or speed and how he plays kind of bulky, Mahomes was chucking it to him all the time in training camp last year, and the guy was coming up with it a good number of times.

I don't know if that continues this year given the added competition, but Ross will still play special teams and is different from the 4-5 guys with kick return skills we have projected to make the team.

I can't get into the mind of Andy at this point, and there's still a bunch of camp and preseason left. I'll just say for now I'm less optimistic for Ross than last year.

Yeah - after some early hype and with a wide open path the locking in that CB2 role, Williams hasn't had the greatest camp.

But hell, it's gonna happen. I mean look at the two guys that tripped over their own feet on that Wylie play.

They run so many reps out there (and offensive highlights get clicks) that you're gonna step on your dick a few times and it's gonna get caught on tape. He may have knocked that pass away 3 times this morning before Ross finally got one over on him and it's the catch that made the interwebs.

Is that gonna be an OPI in a game? They look for 'unnatural' movement and he pretty obviously wasn't running much of a route there.

That said, you can't have 2 guys get taken out there. At least one of them has to realize he needs to get over top of that guy. Just not great execution.

There's no gurentee that he makes the roster. But I just deeply disagree with those who give him no chance whatsoever. The truth Is he's had a very good camp so far and has scored TD's daily along with making some very impressive catches. And when you add in him being 6'4, Only 24 and he's starting to understand the system. Then Veach and Reid are gonna have a tough decision to make. He's moving with the starters right now so clearly the signs are good. Maybe his hunger has increased with him expecting a baby with a famous rapper lady :evil: .

I was just looking at the roster so I could put numbers and names together a little better. While doing so I came across Ion Bock #16 QB.

I'm I little shocked that people here are okay with Lenny The Cools number being worn by a scrub.
