And as a Floridian I must point out that an alligator and crocodile are totally different animal's that evolved differently. There are few crocodiles in the USA. And they are not native.

Alligators are native to the USA in the everglades. After visiting people took baby alligators home. They would get too big for a kids room so they got rid of them in the wild.

People just need to stop freaking out about the coaching staff not picking the players they want. Yes, they see the shit you do in these preseason games. It's possible they still go with MEH and Demediocre Prince in the backfield because they like them as more established receivers and blockers, but that's not because they didn't give guys a fair chance to earn spots.

You look at a guy's college highlights and wonder, "can he do that in the pros"?

And then he does it in the pros. That's when you know you got a winning lottery ticket.

CEH can't practice. Literally.

And Prince has never really done much outside of practice. So yeah, there's a spot there.

Was thinking about this last night, but i think Steele might see some real snaps this season. He's doing in the NFL what he did in college right out the gate. Those usually end up being pretty damn good players.

Going back and watching...yeah he did this at UCLA. I thnk there's something potentially there....Detox is right.

A big thing will be if he can pick his spots when the holes aren't wide open like they are on most of these plays.

Also, it's one thing to break out of arm tackles in open space, but it's another thing to move the pile and keep driving, which is the most important thing if you're a short yardage back.

I've always kinda thought the 40 yard time for a RB is a little bit.....not important? I mean yeah, you can't run a 5.0 but how many times are you really running 40 yards?

Vision and center of gravity for the win.....give me a guy that gets me 4 ypc truly. Not a 30 yard run then a bunch of piddly shit.

Who ran a 4.45 forty at 240 pounds? Steele is hopefully a short yardage back that can also hopefully catch and block on 3rd downs.

You have effort plays like he showed, you get reps with the #1&2’s. He has shown more than anyone in that RB room in his short time.
