8/15/24 Daily Training Camp Thread.

Last day, gents.

wazu 08-15-2024 08:25 AM

You're too late today. Practice is already over.

I haven't really been keeping up. Who's the left tackle going to be, the rookie, Morris, or someone else I'm not thinking of?

Rainbarrel 08-15-2024 08:39 AM

I hope Steele left camp in a safari jeep. Complete with khakis, pith helmet and machete

Finally! Time for real football

These guys play real sports not trying to be the best at working out and practicing

We still got 2 preseason games and like 3 weeks until Week 1, bud.

Now instead of reckless speculation and practice reports, we only have reckless speculation for half a month.

Enjoy your time in the void, I guess

I will! Got my Chiefs robe ready for game 1. Carson Steele Dynasty

Now I will say it is very dangerous to listen to any report by Adam Teicher so probably just don't do that now that we don't have 50 year old men in cargo shorts reporting anymore

Kman34 08-15-2024 09:26 AM

These training camp threads have gotten a little stale…

The problem is there's no real source for a rundown of practice. UW River Falls used to make their interns do camp reports that were on time and pretty thorough.

There are a lot of twitter tards out there, but they capture a handful of moments throughout camp, and a lot of it has been kind of the same shit. No offense to Mahomes or Worthy, but I'd kind of like to know what the other players at camp are up to as well, specifically guys who are on the bubble.

The Chiefs tweet feed in the OP that we had several years ago was neat, but those reporters come and go, so it's hard to copy and paste. You almost need two people to both keep track of who's getting camp reports and then somebody to monitor and edit the feed depending on who's posting.

Without source material or news to discuss, it's hard for these things to get lively and exciting like they used to be.

Bills starting LB.

Not that they are much of a threat anymore.

It is, but Ken Norton Jr. figured out a way to play with one for about half a season.

I don't think McDuffie should ever get to cover Toney or Skyy. Not fair

Bob Dole 08-15-2024 05:56 PM

The Franchise starts anew in 4 minutes...can't find the thread.

Coogs 08-15-2024 05:58 PM

I appreciated the daily threads Buehler!!! Thank you for your efforts all training camp long!!!

Wait, he intercepted it? That is the one area McDuffie needed to improve so that is great to see!

suzzer99 08-15-2024 11:37 PM

The Lab guys seemed pretty stressed about the Jawaan Taylor injury. Surprised not to see any chatter about it here.

Because they're pessimistic douchebags

Maybe it's just me but Taylor is one of the guys I'm least concerned about being injured. Probably the only OL guy I think "meh, we'll be fine". Morris, Niang, whatever we cobble together, it'll be alright

They let the downer walk. Now its just a show of two egotistical uppers who cant slow each other down. They just run wild without Criag to be a calming force.
