Peter Schrager picks Chiefs to three-peat
His super bowl predictions over the last several years have been legendary...

Brandt continuing to pick Buffalo until they win a Super Bowl is the equivalent of a 4 year old holding his breath until he gets the toy he wants

Didn't Schrager pick someone else (maybe Baltimore?) like 4 days ago?

I never saw Berman make any picks. I know he had his “circle the wagons” shtick, but that doesn’t really count? Kind of like Jaworski and his Chiefs SB Blueprint back in the day |
Not surprising. Schrager is practically Nick Wright Jr at this point. He loves us.

Wait Tom Brady will be on the call for the SB? Forgot FOC has it this year.
How amazing would it be for him to call the game of Mahomes doing something he never did? LMAO |

I just feel like this team will have a buzz-saw playoff at some point.
They never have. They're always escaping by the skin of their teeth and seemingly not playing to the height of their abilities. But many of the dominant teams through all eras have had one SB championship where they just wrecked EVERYONE on their way to the ring. I've said it a couple times now and it hasn't happened. Maybe this is the year. Maybe this is the year where they just click and go something like 14-3 and then just take a blowtorch to every poor bastard they see in the post-season. It's gonna happen at some point with Mahomes under center. Why not now? |

No surprise.

This year, my only potential concerns are a Rookie LT (and the Chiefs don't seem to give a **** or have any reservations here), and our CB2 situation (which isn't even a big deal). I suppose depth at IDL is another. But those are nothing like years past. If we stay healthy, we roll. |
who did he pick us to beat

Heck, that's nothing.
Everybody on this board is picking the Chiefs to three-peat, so he is welcome to as well. OKay, 97% of this board is for the three-peat. The remaining 3% are likely the middle child of their families, and take some pleasure in being contrary. |

Jets IMO being vastly underrated simply because they are the Jets. Their roster (albeit older and injury prone in spots) is absolutely loaded as compared to Bills. Superstars everywhere: Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, Quinnen Williams, CJ Mosley, Sauce Gardner. Other than Josh Allen, who on the Bills would you call a superstar or even close to the conversation of superstar? |
I want a Chiefs Packers bowl so god damn bad

The offense should have every club in the bag this year, and some of them are brand new clubs that teams will have to learn how to counter on the fly. The defense has good depth and no glaring holes. |

Their slate of offensive weapons continues to be among the best in NFL history, and Purdy is a smart QB who never plays outside himself, and dueled the GOAT to an overtime Super Bowl. A very good defense propped up by two Hall of Fame talents and surrounded by Pro Bowl calibers players. I think the Bengals are closer to us than anybody is to the 49ers in the NFC. Right now, if you asked me (which, to be clear, absolutely nobody is), the Super Bowl will be a rematch of last year's. I don't know who wins right now, as it's September. But the 49ers seem like clear, clear favorites to get to the Super Bowl. |
The Bengals defense was just so bad last year, I don't know that they really addressed the problems there well enough to get thru the gauntlet of the AFCN.
The 9ers are probably the favorite in the NFC. |
Yeah, it's weird. I keep seeing the Bengals as a popular SB pick and possible #1 seed.
Not sure how anyone sees them finishing ahead of Baltimore. And when Lamar is healthy, Ravens have typically dominated that matchup. What is Lamar against Burrow? 5-1? Ravens should be the prohibitive favorite in the AFC North, which make the Bengals a WC pick at best. |

Kollman picked the chiefs as well as EJ , you could tell it broke them a little inside, we broke most of the media last but there are a few holdouts theses are guys Pat will crush this year.

Rain Man also picks the Chiefs to three-peat.

[QUOTE=Direckshun;17661003]How are the 49ers not a consensus pick?
-Deeclining Samuel -Not a young team, old DLine w/ perpetually injured Bosa -JAG LT -McCaffrey healthy in January two yrs in a row? I think it's probable that due to health/age, they look tired come playoffs, and a younger, hungrier Lions, Packers team upset them. Maybe it's wishful thinkings, as America would revolt if it was Chiefs vs Niners again. |

Also think Jordan Love proves he’s the best QB in the NFC this year. I don’t think the 49ers will make it back |

Kyle Brandt tries too hard to be cool and sound smart, but he is a :o)
|
Peter Shrager rates Aaron Rodgers way to ••••ing high. He picked him to lose to the Chiefs in the Sb a couple of years ago and he picked him for the first seed in the playoffs this year. I don’t see the jets sniffing the playoffs this season.
