Likely gonna miss the playoffs.

New World Order 09-05-2024 10:59 PM

I guess this team thinks they're our latest "rival?"

Bump 09-05-2024 11:00 PM

good luck in the post season, was he even on their team last year?

God of Thunder 09-05-2024 11:00 PM

It's almost like(ly) that he doesn't realize it was our first game as well.....in a few weeks, we'll be even better.

Nickhead 09-05-2024 11:00 PM

too bad his qb can't throw his receivers open :thumb:

Rasputin 09-05-2024 11:01 PM

They better worry about making it to the post season. Other than the TD holding Ol' Henry under 50 yards he was pretty much a none factor and Lamar legs won't hold up this season or he is going to get the **** knocked out of him sooner or later.

T-post Tom 09-05-2024 11:22 PM

Sour grapes.

The Chiefs are going to get better right along with the Ravens as the season goes on.

He's just being pissy.

Hog Rider 09-05-2024 11:27 PM

Let him think this was the Chiefs best.
I've heard there is no cure for what he has.

I don't see the Ratbirds improving if Jackson gets beat to shit every week like he did tonight. That is just not sustainable.

There's a reason why he was whining about not be 100% during the AFCCG. I'll never understand why anybody would want to hitch their wagon to a run-first/oh shit I have to pass now? quarterback.

Kman34 09-06-2024 05:41 AM

Patrick said that Likely should of wore white shoes…LMAO

RedinTexas 09-06-2024 05:52 AM

This is the kind of crap that happens when you feel entitled to win and spend the entire offseason fantasizing about how you're going to "kick their asses" when you get the chance again, and then you FAIL!

POND_OF_RED 09-06-2024 06:02 AM

Did the guy even look at the injury report. How does he think a team without its top DE and WR are playing the “best they’ve got”

Red Dawg 09-06-2024 06:10 AM

What an idiot. We were sloppy and still beat them again and he's talking about our best? Where the hell is their best? Losers.

chiefzilla1501 09-06-2024 06:11 AM

The toe miss might have been the best thing to happen Lamar. Everyone is going to conveniently forget that Lamar completely whiffed on two gimme touchdowns and focus on a guy not getting both feet down. The likely pass doesn’t need to happen if Lamar got it done in the first place

Chief_N_Bama 09-06-2024 06:16 AM

I’m wondering how he thinks Lamar is going to be a better passer come the postseason when we have a handful of seasons that prove otherwise.

warpaint* 09-06-2024 06:22 AM

By all means please keep talking.

Playoff Lamar is one of my favorite QBs.

ThaVirus 09-06-2024 06:27 AM

“Good luck in the playoffs” to the two-time reigning Super Bowl champs who just beat you twice in a row is hilariously ironic.

stevieray 09-06-2024 06:29 AM

You mean the guy who acted hurt to stop the clock?

"Best they got?"

Their best was trying to tie the game with no time left.

At best, it’s completely tone deaf. At worst, they’re just a group of salty bitches with a shitty leader in Lamar “60 IQ” Jackson

Buehler445 09-06-2024 06:40 AM

Running smack on Mahomes is always a good idea. Historically nothing bad has ever happened doing it.

They would have gone for 2 to try and win it. But the comment was still very salty.

"No, that's not the best we got, we were sloppy, AND STILL BEAT YOU!"

DrunkBassGuitar 09-06-2024 07:09 AM

I don't understand what these reeruns are so butthurt about. If it weren't for having a toe over the line there's a good chance they get 2 and win. Against the best team in the NFL right now in week 1. On the road. The Ravens are going to have a good year, if I were a Ravens fan I'd be thinking we were in pretty good shape to make a deep run and maybe make the SB.

chiefzilla1501 09-06-2024 07:24 AM

Where is Baltimore going to improve from now until the playoffs? We will have a deep threat in Hollywood, we have all these drops next time and we will have two high skill rookies at LT and WR with a lot more experience . The ravens couldn’t bet our floor, how will they beat our ceiling

Jewish Rabbi 09-06-2024 07:27 AM

IDK hope that the Chiefs offend the football gods

myselff77 09-06-2024 07:39 AM

Seems like Lamar is hellbent on proving they are the best team. All his comments suggest he is willing to put his body on the line running the ball to achieve this. If he plans on running this aggressively all season, we will be facing Josh Johnson for the playoffs.

He should have figured this out already, but he isn’t going to win a SB running the ball. They aren’t elite enough passing to beat the best in the NFC, let alone the Chiefs in the AFC. He’s an elite athlete, but a ****ing gimmick at QB.

chiefzilla1501 09-06-2024 07:47 AM

I’ll give Lamar this. He’s not sulking on the bench when things aren’t going great like he used to. He’s gotten better at coming from behind. But he’s still just not built to win where they can’t control the game pace. If they can’t catch up to us now, how will they when we really put our foot on the gas.

The Bills or Bengals are our rivals.

I don't think about the Ravens at all. I'm sorry Lamar. I forgot you were here. You may go now.

Iowanian 09-06-2024 08:45 AM

Likely is going to have ptsd…..every time he sees a camel toe the rest of his life he will remember he lost the game by a toenail.

ForeverIowan 09-06-2024 08:56 AM

Lamar said he wasn't healthy and his legs weren't fresh in the playoffs last year. Well...maybe...just maybe...lets not treat your 200 pound franchise "quarterback" like a running back to the tune of SIXTEEN carries in a week freaking 1 game. It will be a miracle if Lamar makes it to the playoffs at that pace. If he does, wont be healthy yet again.

Sounds good to me.

duncan_idaho 09-06-2024 09:09 AM

I think all the saltiness from the Ravens - Jackson, Likely, Smith - comes down to them spending the entire offseason with a bad taste in their mouths about losing in the AFC title game, feeling like they had one stolen from them, and wanting to show they were the better team… and then not being able to do it.

Fact of the matter is the Racens may feel like they have another level and would have won if things went an inch their way, but that game was also two inches away from being a 3-score game even after their long pass TD to Likely.

1. We get the win

2. Worthy looked electric

3. Rice is a #1

4. No injuries

5. This dumbass still manages to give the Chiefs bulletin board material

Could last night have gone any better???

phisherman 09-06-2024 09:25 AM

It blows my mind that Likely and Jackson both are still staying that they think the TD was good. Idiots. Salty idiots.

Maybe they shouldn't have Sideshow Bob wearing his clown shoes when he's supposed to catch the game-winning pass in the back of the endzone.

It looked like he had borrowed a pair of Bob Lanier's shoes for that possession LMAO
(you youngsters can look that one up :) )

|Zach| 09-06-2024 10:05 AM

Guy had an incredible game. It felt like he took over a starting position in real time from another great tight end.

Lots of interesting seeds were planted last night for an escalated rivalry with Baltimore. The type of game that gets very personal.

Chiefs deserve a lot of credit for shutting down a lot of vertical passing. Likely came on and did some good things but there was a lot of Lamar having to run because the Chiefs secondary was doing a good job. A lot of damage in the passing game was underneath.

If you are Baltimore you have to hope that is not the recipe for success. They are going to get their QB killed.

I like the Lanier comparison, but with the hair and the big foot, I think we have to go with Sideshow Bob. I think we need to name the play too.

The Sideshow Bob Crow Hop.
