Let's talk about the Bengals (week 2)

This is the first Mahomes v Burrow matchup since the AFC Championship. I'm pumped.

Ja'Marr Chasing his bag. Too bad the owner is poor as shit so that bag is full of pennies.

Burrow will get hurt.

I think we’ve got a better handle on attacking the bengals defense. our biggest issue was we were manufacturing tons of targets for guys like Pacheco and gray. They were daring us to throw to Mvs. If Hollywood is healthy we are in a terrific spot on offense. At worst our floor is to repeat last years solid offensive performance except hopefully this time we close drives.
On defense… Taylor and burrow have a decent pulse on us if we can’t get pressure. If they can slice us with browning they will do it with burrow. Question is if their WRs wil be anywhere near ready. |
Bengals are still our rival.
We must crush them |

Need to win this game. Don't want to hear the Burrow is 4-1 against Mahomes talk.
|
Their offense will score points.
Our offense will score more points. Chiefs win. |
Starting 2-0 with 2 key tie breakers would be huge
|
Burrow isn’t going to miss simple throws like Lamar did. We’ll need to play better.
I think Hollywood is back this week |

You could see several times that our DL beat the OL and immediately had to break down so they didn’t lose contain, which still happened several times regardless. For all his weaknesses as a QB, Lamar still poses an athletic threat on any given play that few others do. |
Also glad that DJ Reader is gone.
Seemed like we could never move that guy. |
Tee Higgins strained a hammy apparently. TBD if he plays against New England.
|
Lamar should have our pass rush and defense as a whole well conditioned for this one.
I love us in this spot with the long break leading up to the game. |
They're a bunch of pussies, nuff said.
|
If Hollywood plays we are putting 40 on these dickwads
|
The Bungholes look like a shitshow with their WR contract drama.
|
We found our CB #2…

I'm interested to see what the Bengals look like this week. And what's going on with Jamarr Chase.
I suspect he'll make a Chris Jones like return next week, after sitting out this week. Too bad they drew an easy opponent Week 1. |
Yeah, I feel terrific about our secondary right now. Conner was all over the field. I’m sure Hicks will start getting more time as well.
Pass rush was pretty good but negated by Jackson to some extent. They should punish Burrow. Run defense on Henry was mostly good. Linebackers in coverage was the only real negative on defense. I wonder if they cheated a bit in watching/containing Jackson. Maybe the fear of his legs hurt them in coverage a bit. Who knows. The defense should be good enough this year regardless. This offense could be really special. |

The worst performers I saw on defense were Herring and Bolton. |
Goes without saying, but Kingsley vs. Trey Hendrickson is a tough matchup.
Kid is gonna need a lot of help there. At least more than last night. |
Meanwhile Creed and Kelce were destroying guys last night

Sheesh. Higgins is listed as doubtful and Chase is questionable.

Lowkey we’ve been crazy efficient vs the bengals the last 2 years. Which coincides with the time we had the least amount of wr talent. It includes significant injury where mahomes was hurt or his WRs were knocked out. Or the regular season loss two years ago where we just made dumb mistakes on offense. So that is our floor and we’re a better team this year. We have better players this year and cincy has gradually gotten worse with defensive personnel.
I also hate to be the “don’t show your best stuff” guy but I also think this being an early regular season game, we will be going more for the jugular versus prior seasons where we knew we’d see cincy in a few weeks. |
Bengals top players in targets since 2021 when Burrow joined the teams
1. Ja'Marr Chase - questionable 2. Tee Higgins - doubtful 3. Tyler Boyd - Titans 4. Joe Mixon - Texans 5. Samaje Perine - Chiefs 6. A.J. Green - Retired 7. Drew Sample - Bengals! 8. C.J. Uzomah - Free Agent 9. Hayden Hurst - Chargers 10. Trenton Irwin - Bengals! 11. Giovani Bernard - Retired 12. Tanner Hudson - Bengals! 13. Mike Thomas - Free Agent/Retired? 14. Mitchell Wilcox - Patriots 15. Irv Smith Jr. - Free Agent |

Burrow is going to get sacked and pressured a lot. Their defense won’t stop us. We will get the comfortable win we were close to getting last night.
|
If the Chiefs are the Benchmark. What's the pressure like after Thursday night
|
So FAU’s speed against Orlando Brown Jr?

Chase gonna play. What a shock.

He didn’t need to bring Henry down. He just needed to wrap up and slow him down, so he could get help. |

We’re going to curb stomp them. They’re in their typical slow start phase.
|
We are going to rape them to death. They absolutely ****ing suck.
|
I'm sure they thought they could skate through the Pats game. Wouldn't surprise me if they've been working on us more than this game.
|
Can’t wait for Spags to put Chenal on the edge to destroy Orlando LMAO
|
Cincy looks like crap today, but I am sure the game next week is gonna be a tough battle down to the final 2 minutes.

All the Chiefs/Bengals games have been close. Let's hope next week isn't. Need to boatrace this team. |

Cincy's confidence has to be at a low point coming into Arrowhead.
We need to take care of business and pound away on Burrow. |

All that needs to be said is….
They r faulked! |
imagine being a bengals fan.

I just want to see Kingsley race Orlando Brown Jr. I think Orlando has him in a hot dog eating contest, though.
|
Best part is the Patriots didn’t even play way above their expected level to win. They were bang average but still won fairly comfortably against a shit show from the Bengals at home.

Their defense isn't very talented, the dline got pushed around by a subpar Pats oline.
