Jordan Love Injury Update
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Report: Jordan Love's ACL appears to be intact, more tests to come. <a href="https://t.co/SPx3Q16yPt">https://t.co/SPx3Q16yPt</a></p>— ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) <a href="https://twitter.com/ProFootballTalk/status/1832432647454261693?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 7, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I bet he gets placed on IR for 4 weeks.
|
They've dodged a bullet if that knee really is intact.
I'll go ahead and assume someone high up in the Green Bay front office has already been in touch with Tannehill, especially considering how Malik Willis couldn't even execute a hail mary play. |

Wentz for a 4.
|
This is exactly why you bring a low cost former 1st rd bust like Carson Wentz or Zach Wilson
|
Someone in the GameDay thread said he might have a high ankle sprain. If so he could be out for up to 1 Chad Henne TD drive.
|
I don't think the injury had anything to do with that embarrassing field. But I hope it draws enough attention to it that the NFL finally takes this shit seriously
|
would have guessed he had acl/pcl/kneecap problems the way his knee popped in slow mo

we aren't trading out back up quarterback, come on guys. If he's injured... 1) Carter is a dirty piece of philly shit who should be suspended. 2) I'd guess Tannahill or some other retread. |

Tannehill is the best option if Love is out short term...they just need a bus driver who won't lose games for them.
|
Ryan Tannehill seems like an obvious signing if Love is out multiple weeks.

I'd be weary of folks talking about ACL's until he gets back home and does the MRI. I'm old enough to remember them saying the same thing about Von Miller when he got injured in Detroit. Reports said ACL was intact, and he even went on his podcast and said "I'll be back in a few weeks", then further MRI tests discovered a tear the initial tests didn't.
If ACL Is totally ruled out then folks are saying it could be an MCL tear which could take up to eight weeks or more to recover from. Just terrible. Hopefully it's just a sprain or something. GB have been a trendy pick this year so this is super unfortunate. |
Damn shame.
|
$79 million in Love’s pocket this year.
|
**** the Packers. 32 years of HOF QB play. Let them suffer.

Maybe the field didn't cause the injury but the NFL can piss off for allowing that game to happen. Shit field, players told not to leave hotel because area isn't safe, and it being on Peacock tells just how little they care about the fans and player safety

Packers dodged a bullet
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Packers?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Packers</a> QB Jordan Love, who went down with a lower leg injury late in his team’s loss to the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Eagles?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Eagles</a> in Brazil, had tests on his knee today that revealed an MCL sprain, source said. Sounds like an mcl not sure how bad.

3-6 weeks is not bad at all...
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Packers?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Packers</a> QB Jordan Love's initial timetable for return is in the 3-6 week range, per sources. I still have no idea why they traded for Willis.
He cannot start for them or their season over. |

No way in hell do we want to trade Wentz to the Packers. And for a 4th Round pick next year?
If you already have Mahomes, you obviously don't want anyone else to be your starter, but Wentz is a great backup - for anyone. He could start on some teams. Crap teams sure, but he would make an impact for them. I think we're so spoiled by having Mahomes that, comparitively speaking, all others look poor. It doesn't matter if Wentz is a step or two down. Everyone is. As a clipboard holder, he's one of the best (rather have Chad Henne). If Mahomes does go down for a week or more, having Wentz means we're not in the Packers current predicament. Mahomes injured for the season, 3-Peat is obviously over, but with Wentz, I think we could limp into a one=and-done playoff situation. Not the end of the world. Wihtout Wentz? End of the world. |
They did a great job putting so many receiving options around Love. Hopefully he's not out long

Malik Willis blowing a promising teams season by pitching a measley few games in relief is exactly the reason we shouldn't trade wentz
|
I'd trade him for a 1 or 2. Olakomoly or whATEVEFR DIDN'T LOOK THAT BAD.
|
Next three for Green Bay… Indy, Tennessee and Minnesota.
A manageable schedule at least. |
The NFL executives are whores and would have teams play on green glass and nails if it meant more ratings and money.
Why the NFLPA continues to green light this shit makes no cents but many dollars. |
Jordan Love to officially start tomorrow
