Jets (1-1) hosting New England (1-1).... NYJ favored by 6.

Should be a clinic on handing the football off.

Should be a Jets W. Really just curious as to whether or not AR starts throwing the ball a little more. Though against NE, the gameplan may be to just pound the ball 35+ times and get out of there.

I think New England is the better coached team...

Might not matter as much on the short week however. Talent wins out when you are playing on fumes and beat up.

Damn, I'm not seeing this as a surefire Jets win at all. That team was already looking sus and they lost some pretty important pieces already defensively. Patriots look outright competent.

For a Thursday this isn't that bad, we've been spoiled. We get two 1-1 teams, divisional rivalry, Aaron Rodgers first home game with the Jets since last season. Patriots usually own the Jets - will they still? Seems kind of unlikely but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.

Poor Garrett Wilson gets one chump after another throwing him the ball. He's super talented but won't ever get recognized like he should until he can get out of NY.

Also, Garrett's still learning. I didn't realize he was still a little green but watching him have to be told where to line up, making procedural errors, etc., kinda obvious Garrett is still a little unpolished.

They ended up shanking the FG attempt, but it’s OK for the Jets because the Patriots can’t score.

Mainly referring to the body language between the two of them. Garrett shaking his head after plays and Rodgers giving him the stink eye for it. Just doesn't seem great.

Yeah, Saleh decided to stuff the run and make Brissett throw. Pretty basic, but I know I was curious whether Saleh would figure that out.

Now, that's all NYJ has to do the rest of the game. Brissett ain't passing his way to 3-5 scores in a half. Not in this universe. It's all over but the crying for NE.

Missed that. Well, Garrett needs to get on the same page as the rest of the offense. Rogers needs him to play better, so I expect they'll get themselves sorted out sooner or later. Maybe tonight.
