Because the time the thread is started, who started it, and the Twitter embed really determine who wins and who doesn't. Not expecting much from the Yankees against this great dominant Royals team. Yankees pitching (including bullpen) has sucked this year. Lots of 9-0 scores after 3 innings lol. And they can’t manufacture runs without the long ball.

The offense needs to get hot. Scoring 1 and 2 runs against the Yankees isn't going to cut it.

This is a really young team without a lot of playoff experience. Hopefully that series against Baltimore gave them a taste of what this is going to be like. Because they all need to settle in; get comfortable and be at their best this week.

Whenever you play such a long season, and get into the playoffs, of course you wanna keep going and win the whole thing.

But we are playing with so much house money right now, I hope the players can relax, enjoy the ride, score some runs, have fun and just play some good baseball. We do that, and we should be right there in the end.

As others have said, the bats need to wake up and the Royals score some runs. Playing with house money at this point. Maybe they can take a cue from Salvy (except don't swing at every pitch like he does), smile, laugh and enjoy the moment.

Get this first one and the pressure is squarely on the Yankees. I have so many memories of playoffs in the 70s and 80s and most were not great. Time for payback!

After a small sample size “breakout,” Fermin has been mostly ass. I realize our lineup isn’t exactly Murderer’s Row, but Freddy is most definitely a reserve player.

Most of the lineup is reserve players. I want Fermin in the lineup over Yuli Gurriel.

He's been our 2nd best player this year. He was good last year. I realize he hasn't been very good for a month in a half but shouldn't give up on the guy.

What did Yuli Gurriel ever do but hit a few singles for the Astros in like 2006? He's a wasted at bat. Let Fermin in, agreed Willie!
