Remanessing
Hey everyone,
I have been hanging out in "DC" for about the last year or so just because it's an election cycle. But I have been trying to reconnect with some of the "old gang" that was around back in 2003 when I first joined. I came across a thread that I created in December of 2005 requesting prayer for my mom who, at that time had a 5 year life expectancy. Well she hung in there until 2018! Prayer works! Anyway I just said all that to say this: Thanks for all the memories and friendships along the way! :thumb: -Greg |
Good to hear your mother was able to live a much longer life than you thought she would.
PS. Were you a spelling bee champion in high school? |
i think its spelled ramanissing
|
You guys are remanassing.
|
It would be remainissing of me to ignore this post.
|
I’m ramen missing myself. Gotta run to the store later
|
If you want to add to your own life expect and see, spend less time in that cesspool DC.

Remanessing the Stone is a 1984 romantic comedy-adventure film directed by Robert Zemeckis, written by Diane Thomas and produced by Michael Douglas, who also stars in the film alongside Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito. The film follows a remaness novelist who must venture beyond her New York City comfort zone to Colombia in order to save her sister from criminals who are holding her for ransom.

Ramanessing is gorging yourself on Asian noodles.
|
Good to see you again, greg. And good to hear that your mom lived much longer than expected. That is a blessing.
Reminiscing, I believe, is the word you were attempting to spell. |
RamManAssing is popular in San Francisco.

He sounded it out...give him a break.
The English language has a lot of rules, and also breaks them all in multiple ways. |
I bet his name is George and not Greg.

I saved a man's life, but do they call me Jim the lifesaver? No! I sculpted 20 statues in the public park, but do they call me Jim the sculptor? No! But you fuck one goat.... |

And the problem with DC isn't that people have strong opinions - it's that they're convinced they're right about all things. There's no desire to learn anything. There's no trying to find out more or learn all you can about some subject that just hit the news. Nope. All things I think about all things are always correct. One of these days a few people will legitimately find out they're 100% wrong about something and there will be a furious chugging of bleach and antifreeze due to years of doubling down and shit throwing. |
