He owns a shirt with sleeves????
|
I wonder if LT is a possibility.
|
I'd honestly be pretty surprised if we added another WR. I'm all for it, but I'd still be surprised.
|
This is fun if nothing else.
I'd actually prefer LT, but they don't trade those mid-season. |
Sky Moore straight up for an 8th round pick would be nice.

Donovan Smith.

We need one more warm body. I still don’t trust the injury bug being done
|
Dick wetty like Allegretti!!
|
They shouldn’t be done with getting WR help.
|
It would make sense, there may never be another shot at a threepeat.
|
If Bakhtiari will play on turf or whatever, I'd take a look at him.
|
Marshon Lattimore’s base is only 1.2 mil….now that number jumps to 16 mil. both next year and the year after…
Just saying. |

If Hollywood comes back in time for the playoffs the Chiefs are the ****ing Voltron Force |
I'm gonna withhold the details because I'd like to preserve identity awhile longer, ha....
But my confidence in Brown coming back just went up about 5x. |

Pretty much my view as well. I’m sort of assuming he’s back by the playoffs but that doesn’t mean we don’t still need another WR. |
Reid just said Brown is "doing good, he's ahead of schedule" during the presser!

That statement is just a step above those "Chiefs steal a receiver in new proposed trade" bullshit headlines.
A GM never stops being a GM, of course he might not be done. |

How am I supposed to get any work done today?

I would trade a 3rd for Lattimore but the aints need to eat at least half the cap for next season.

A LT would be nice too but I don’t want to cut corners there. Either see what we have with Kingsley as an upgrade. And hopefully pay very close attention to it in the offseason if we’re not satisfied. I just don’t know that we’re gonna add an impact guy here unless we bring Donovan smith in |
Heard we might be getting Hugh Douglas

With Watson down, CB could be a real play and LT goes without saying. ANOTHER WR trade would be nice, but i'd think Veach will look to strengthen some other spots if another trade were to happen. Solidifying LT would yield better results than yet another WR at this point. ESPECIALLY if they think Hollywood has a real chance to be back. |
Gotta be Herman Moore
|
They're not getting an upgrade at LT this late in the season.

I never claim to know how trading and FA work. But just a few observations.
1. Why the hell would anyone trade with the Chiefs right now? I like it, but look at the Mahomes pick. How did that work out for Buff and CHI. 2. Are other teams just stupid or is Bret Veach just the puppet master of all things? 3. Are they collecting draft pics for the future (that rarely work out) |

Not any better than you at figuring a lot of that stuff out, but TEN is done for the season, obviously, and they're also obviously in tear down/rebuild mode. They've figured out that Levis isn't the guy, so they don't need to keep pieces like DHop around anymore, and they wanted to at least get something for DHop, because they weren't going to retain him next season. Unlike how they ended up getting nothing for D. Henry. Other teams that are probably in the same situation might be LAR, NYG, CAR, CLE . . . Time for Veach to go shopping. |
Quote:
First, you should stockpile picks for the post-Mahomes era in 15 years, because you're not winning anything in the Mahomes era anyway. Second, the only way to beat the Chiefs is for the Chiefs to win so much that they get bored. Even then, the odds are low, but maybe conceding the next few Super Bowls will pay off in five years or so. |
Quote:
In tennessees case it’s getting value back for a player they don’t want anymore. Dhop does nothing but help them win games they’re probably currently motivated to lose. I don’t think it really matters to them if kc wins now knowing Tennessee has no motivation to win right now. Maybe not for a couple of years. |

If we end up with Hopkins and Kupp or Diontae I'd shit myself.

Look at first rounders that are somewhat floundering and need a change of scenery.

Maybe Z'Darius Smith.

There's just no point in doing anything besides hoping for a high draft pick and selling off any sunk costs that won't be back next year. |
Has to be Myles Garrett, right???!
Lattimore makes a ton of sense. He and McDuffie will absolutely shut shit down! |

Who is the restructure candidate to make another move possible?
|
Kendrell Bell?
/s If Bert Veetch makes another move, I'd guess it's a defensive rental that has upside as a rotational player on day one but is basically an insurance policy if another starter goes down. |
Myles Garrett would be insane.
