Holy ****.

Oh my ****ing God

So it's bad. WTF man.

Don't jump off the bridge yet

This could be a game changer with our offense struggling getting tds , not getting the guaranteed FG might change the way we call stuff in redzone.
|
There goes the ****ing season right out the gd window
|
Okay so it’s minor surgery on his non-kicking knee and he’s expected back for the playoffs. That makes me feel better

This is some seriously shitty news. WTF happened? How is a kicker's knee getting injured this bad in practice?
|
Wonder if it happened on the last kickoff against Denver and that's why it was so wonky.

Some missed FGs may cost us a game or two, though, in the meantime as close as we play each week. |
The injuries this year are ****ing insane. Thank god it's only a 3-4 week injury.

4 down territory past midfield and in.
|
WTF???
When did this happen? |
Whew, let's add the "miss 3-4 weeks" to the thread title. Holy heart attack.

This is why we can never have nice things. |

Traitors, Cowards and Losers are so predictable.
Andy's about to start owning defenses. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GcYEbiiW...jpg&name=small |

Well this sucks. After this week it’s Panthers, Raiders, Chargers, then Browns.

If we actually 3peat after all the injuries this year, just wow. Talk about a tough road.
|
:shake: :doh!: Fricking injuries man. At least he'll be back.
|
Well, guess we'll be going for it more on 4th down now on opponents side of the 50.
This could be interesting . . . . |

I'm jumping to a conclusion here but awfully ironic that he may have done this on the final kick after they had to play at Arrowhead one day after the ****ing Jayhawks.

Mother ****er!*&$%&$!(%*!%*)%(^!%
|
Some good news - I just looked up our new kicker and am happy to report he has never missed a kick at the NFL level.
|
This Shrader fellow must feel like he won the lottery though. Going to get a Super Bowl ring to make a few kicks in about the easiest part of our schedule.
|
The Chiefs have sustained a ridiculous number of serious injuries in practices this season.
JuJu, Wiley, and now Butker. |

Get that shit together MFers. |
That really sucks- changes the calculus of decisions on fourth down at certain spots on the field. Andy will likely get conservative and punt rather take a shot at long field goals.

And JuJu's injury isn't "serious". |

That sucks.

Every little bitch in this thread is getting added to the Cowards thread after we win. **** you.

We’ll be fine lol

God, please, make it stop

looks like the Chiefs will just have to start scoring TDs....

All part of the plan to hide the entire team for the post season…

Wow, maybe this has been a problem all year and we didn't know it.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Harrison Butker has collapsed on his left knee following through EVERY kick this season.<br><br>It is a change in his technique that really caught my attention, and unfortunately it’s not surprising his left knee needs a meniscus procedure. <br><br>Hope he gets healthy. <a href="https://t.co/DsSVrKmFuz">https://t.co/DsSVrKmFuz</a> <a href="https://t.co/1szLcRzQea">pic.twitter.com/1szLcRzQea</a></p>— Drew Butler (@DrewButler) <a href="https://twitter.com/DrewButler/status/1857180678351110477?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 14, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
Didn’t we have a game last season where Reid had to kick? Can’t recall which one or how different we played on offense.

Yeah that's weird cause I have noticed him dropping to that knee too and thought it was really odd all season. Maybe this will end that.

People are freaking out over losing a kicker for a few weeks?

Will be interesting to learn when the dropping his left leg thing actually started. I know I've noticed it before but I don't think it every stuck to me as intentional or happening every time. Apparently it was going at least back to 2023.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Apparently Harrison Butker did this in 2023 too. I wonder if he’s done it since his left ankle injury in 2022, or maybe he’s had a small meniscus tear for a while and has avoided planting to avoid shear force in his left knee. <br><br>Very odd kicking method. <a href="https://t.co/EJXJfdjjV0">https://t.co/EJXJfdjjV0</a></p>— Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT (@jmthrivept) <a href="https://twitter.com/jmthrivept/status/1857184674558378134?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 14, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

Guys, plant legs are still kind of important for kickers.
But it’s good it looks like he’ll be back in December. |
Butker out for 3-4 weeks...
Chiefsplanet: OMG season over!!! |

Im going to look at tbis as a blessing. Hopefully it forces Reid/Mahomes to get more aggressive putting the ball in tje freaking endzone. 4 down territory all game type mentality.
With that said, it will be harder to win close games without the best kicker in the league. Butker is a huge weapon. |
The season's not over, but let's be honest here - our injury-depleted offense has fully embraced the grind-it-out mentality, and that results in more stalled drives. Losing our nails long distance field goal kicker is going to cost us points, and considering the way we've been winning this season, that's a ****ing problem.
Hopefully the offense will step shit up to counter it. |
Justin Reid has this!!
|
Meanwhile , beginning Sunday we have 3 ****ing games in 11 day stretch
|
With him out, it would be a fine time to figure out how to get in the end zone.

But at least it's only the next 3-4 weeks and not the playoffs. |
