Would be super cool if Tyron Smith took a shit in Rodgers' locker so he'd cut him for us

Sassy Squatch 11-21-2024 03:44 PM

****ing yikes. Suamataia being left on an island nearly 80% was inexplicable.

ptlyon 11-21-2024 03:44 PM

What island? The island of Oahu? The island of misfit toys?

I was just thinking about that (well not exactly).

Sounds like we should’ve signed him. Then used the second round pick on someone else.

Hindsight and all though.

The thing with Rodgers is... That might be something he's into and he forces the Jets to give Smith an extension after that

DJ's left nut 11-21-2024 04:22 PM

Sweet Jesus.

They really have sent Kingsley out there to die, haven't they?

The far right side of that chart are All Pros and a 2nd round rookie. I mean c'mon, Andy. We kinda felt like he'd been hung out a big, but when you see it like that....WTF were you thinking, man?

Kid never had a chance at all.

smithandrew051 11-21-2024 04:26 PM

How do we explain the discrepancy in help that we’ve given Wanya vs Kingsley?

Kingsley struggled, so we gave Wanya help?

No they sent Mahomes out to die. We're just lucky defenders didn't take the free opportunities they had to blow him up.

Marcellus 11-21-2024 04:34 PM

**** I guess we should have kept OBJ.

BWillie 11-21-2024 04:57 PM

Why cant we just make Taylor LT and Morris RT? Then he can see it coming. But perhaps they would rather it be LT so Mahomes has the ability to scramble to his right and throw.

No. Greedy bag of dicks can go shove that dumbass foxtail faaaaar up his ass

Sassy Squatch 11-21-2024 05:11 PM

OBJ was absolutely horrible in 2023 and hasn't played much in 2024.

ThaVirus 11-21-2024 05:16 PM

I’d give up a teste for Jordan Mailata

RunKC 11-21-2024 05:45 PM

Not at all surprising when you consider Andy’s history.

Mahomes was getting ahnihilated in SB55 bc of backup tackles at both spots and Andy rarely at all helped those guys despite watching his QB run for his life every play.

Balto 11-21-2024 06:11 PM

Costing only $2M

Vikings receive:
Robinson
Conditional 2026 seventh-round pick

Jaguars receive:
Conditional 2026 fifth-round pick

ERRRRRRR

New World Order 11-21-2024 06:20 PM

Andy takes the diapers off early

I don’t think so. Google says he’s only 27 years old.

He’s 6’8” 365 and nimble. Our offense would be elite if we swapped him with Wanya.

Sassy Squatch 11-21-2024 07:13 PM

Probably thinking of Lane Johnson.

They were hoping he would rise to the level of competition and work to keep the spot. They over estimated his ability to win on straight traits when he’s WAYYY behind in footwork and upper body effectiveness.

Lots of film to work through and coach from.

After week 1 I thought we had found our guy. He looked solid enough for a rookie starting in his first game. Then the Cinci game came and...eesh.

They need to assign him a ton of muscle memory building strength training in the offseason. He needs to be able to completely transform his technique from the ground up.

His weakness in college was the double moves. When DL can get his hands down, they are able to shake him using leverage and transition from power to speed. He’s going to need to improve a great deal in his lower and upper body technique, but I do think he can get there.

His technique is sooo bad that I’m shocked they didn’t redshirt him this year.

He wouldn't have really helped last game. Trey Smith got absolutely worked.

Seth Keysor broke down the protection and this is what he saw

"All right, let's talk numbers. In 11 pass plays (again, prior to the final drive) where the Chiefs faced pressure, here's how I divvied up "blame."

Mahomes - 3 plays

Trey Smith - 2 plays

Trey and Creed Humphrey - 1 play

Trey and Jawaan Taylor -1 play

Receivers covered - 2 plays

Wanya Morris and WR's -1

Unknown -1 (This was a play where the world, including me, blamed Carson Steele for INSTANT pressure, but former Chiefs' All-Pro RT Mitch Schwartz has stated that's not accurate and that no one was really "wrong" on the play. I don't know what went wrong on this play if it's not a protection failure by Steele, but I obviously believe Mitch)"

TheGuardian 11-21-2024 11:55 PM

I've watched the bills games 3 times. It was Trey Smith that ****ed us on the line.

Not Morris.

RunKC 11-22-2024 12:29 AM

This graph tells me that Jalen Hurts is undoubtedly one of the most overrated pieces of shit in the league

People are obsessed with blaming him and it's just because they don't like him. All of it goes back to his rookie year last season against the Raiders on Christmas. Some people never liked him after that and just decided that he's awful. Those same people though love/loved Kingsley even after Trey Hendrickson assaulted him, but they liked him coming out of the draft. They look past his flaws and think he can be a LTOTF, but I never see anyone saying Morris could possibly be that and he's improved a lot since last season.

Maybe so but we’ve played 10 games now and LT has been a significant issue in many of them.

Humphries will have Wanya Morris safely on the sidelines where he belongs by post season.

Idk about the Seth Keysor thing.

All losses aren’t considered equal. When our Lts lose (or hold/false start) it generally gives the play no chance - aka dead play.

I don’t recall seeing tre smith lose in the capacity of absolutely killing the play (probably just making the play less likely to succeed)

The issue with the LT is they’re giving the play basically 0 % of success. And mahomes will sometimes make magic with a bad block as long as it has a chance

It's recency bias. Trey had a terrible game against the Bills and a middling one the previous. Wanya had maybe one of his better games against the Bills. This ignores the fact Morris has generally been bad and Smith good. I DO think Smith hasn't had his best year and isn't the best in pass pro, but he's pretty solid most games and significantly better than Morris.
