|
**** Yeah! Can’t wait to watch Omenihu **** shit up.
|
I'm going to guess a very light load on Friday for both of these guys; maybe 10-15 snaps per...?
|
Oh sweet baby Jesus, yes.
|
About time!
|
I'm feeling the JOY

Can't wait to see Pacheco back on the field, with Kareem.
On the other hand, not sure what to expect from Omenihu. Hoping for the best, but expecting him to look rusty and not quite up to game speed yet. |

That's my hope. I think that in 3-4 weeks he's going to be as good as we can expect for the playoffs. But like most players that have been away for awhile, I think he'll start slow and build up to it. |

Turkeys done!

Excited to see Hunt inside the red zone and on 3rd/4th and short and Pacheco every where else.
|
awesome!

Big news!

This could not have happened at a better time! How awesome is this for us and moving them into the lineup against a 2 - 9 Faiders. :thumb:

Nice warmup game
|
Well, Kareem made it. He did an incredible job carrying such a burden on his shoulders the last couple months. Looking forward to seeing Kareem & Pacheco sharing the burden as we move forward. One hell of a 2-back punch. Throw in Perine as well and it's a great trio.

With all the bad luck with injuries we’ve had this season, we might be the healthiest we’ve been all year come playoffs. Threepeat incoming!!
|
The defensive line has been, IMO, the issue with the defense. With less time, opposing QBs won't have near as much time to pick on 27 and 13.
It seems that if there's a perfect pass or near impossible catch to make, teams do that against the Chiefs. Or is it that I just watch the Chiefs and that happens to every other team? |
Man. It's happening. We're gonna three peat. I can feel it. The world weeps...**** the world...

No trickeration, no in-game evaluation, no risk/reward metrics to ponder....hand it to Hunt on 3rd or 4th and short. Pick up 1st down. The rest is extra gravy. Move football and keep offense on field. |

I think a big part of it is when teams are playing us, their QB seems to have a ‘**** it’ mentality because they know what it’s going to take to beat us, so that plays into it as well. They’re much more likely to just chuck it up there. |

We've played an extra season worth of playoff games the last 5 years and every team is playing their Super Bowl against us. It happens. It doesn't mean we're bad, it's just hard to win in this league, especially for as long as we have. |

Outstanding!!! What a great scene, one of the best of that season!!! |

Both looked excellent and contributed.
Pop breaking off a couple nice runs and got us a FG. Omenihu already giving good offensive linemen trouble and drawing holding calls. |
They both made impacts and Pop was on a pitch count.
I am not worried much about the offense tbh. It’s all on secondary mainly |
Very excited to see Pacheco rip that long run. Coming back from a broken leg I wasn't sure if he'd look like himself this year or not. That looked like the dude we all know and love.

We just need to get back to executing better and I think that will be a big difference with DJ out there at LT. This OL has looked like a unit that’s been spread thin to try to compensate for horrible LT play while trying not to throw other resources into helping out through other positions and it’s making everyone else look worse. Humphries will give us dependable LT play for the first time in a couple years, if not since Fish went down. Thuney won’t have to be as aware of the ends cutting inside and that should help solidify the middle of the OL again. Hopefully they can get Trey back on track, as well. |

My concern with Pacheco yesterday was what it always has been. He can break the long ones sometimes (and he did break one long one), but simply gets stopped immediately in the backfield or behind the line of scrimmage far too often. Hunt's consistent 3/4 yard grinds over the past weeks emphasised that even more on Pacheco's return.
Outside the 34 yarder he had 6 carries for 10 yards, which simply isnt sustainable. |

Omenihu quietly had a pretty good game yesterday.

Soon after, Hollywood joins the party, and suddenly the secondary issues don't even matter because they're scoring 30 ppg. |
Omenihu looked good. Already contributing.
|
The eye test passed. He was very good in his first game back.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">In his first game back after ACL surgery, Charles Omeinhu already had a 15.8% pass-rush win rate. That was 19th overall among NFL edges. Neither George Karlaftis or Mike Danna were over 10%. Folks, No. 90 is gonna inject some major juice into the KC pass rush.</p>— Adam Best (@Arrowhead_Adam) <a href="https://twitter.com/Arrowhead_Adam/status/1864378841084375098?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 4, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
If the pass rush gets going and Watson comes back, look out. Defense will be much better.
If Humphries is an upgrade at LT and Hollywood comes back, also look out. After this crazy season, we may still get the 1 seed and be healthy. The only loss would be Rice, but he was replaced with Hopkins. A slight downgrade at this point, but not near as bad as this all looked a few weeks ago. |
