Pacheco fined 45 grand

WTF. Dude makes peanuts

Pop makes a million bucks before taxes. WTF

philfree 12-14-2024 04:15 PM

That's ridiculous:rolleyes: I bet that happened 100 times throughout the NFL last week.

George Liquor 12-14-2024 04:15 PM

lol that's pretty silly

You know who deserves some fines? Your shitty refs, Goodell.

Is there a rule against the locker room passing a hat around?

philfree 12-14-2024 04:18 PM

Mahomes just needs to get Pacheco in on an endorsement or two so he can make some bucks to make up for this BS.

There's no question that happened. Hell Mahomes and Kelce probably just both gave him a check.

FURNITURE MALL OF KANSASSSS!

Otter 12-14-2024 04:20 PM

Reason 999,999 why the NFL will never see a dime from me again.

I say we start throwing refs and their keepers into the dome with lions if we want to be entertained..

Okay bud

DRM08 12-14-2024 04:27 PM

WTF. Meanwhile a Niner dude punched Mahomes in the throat with zero penalty & zero financial consequence.

RINGLEADER 12-14-2024 04:31 PM

Wow. That’s real money for a seventh round pick on a play that I’m sure no one found exceptional at the time.

philfree 12-14-2024 04:37 PM

#7 lowered his head on the tackle. This is absurd. Hopefully he wins an appeal.

cabletech94 12-14-2024 04:42 PM

Horse-shit!!

$45k is a new truck and there isn't shit on that play assuming it's the correct one in reference.

Total BS but refs can **** up an entire game with impunity.

crayzkirk 12-14-2024 04:56 PM

Hopefully, the Clarks will pay the fine for him.

Rainbarrel 12-14-2024 05:20 PM

Some charity must be hard up

Graystoke 12-14-2024 05:21 PM

I guarantee that dumbbells Gene Steratore would agree with this.

Yeah, he's about a worthless MF mouthpiece for the NFL.

UteChief 12-14-2024 05:31 PM

Do we know for sure refs don’t face consequences for bad or missed calls?

threebag 12-14-2024 05:43 PM

He should appeal that shit

Do we know the refs aren't rewarded for such?

Sometimes all you have to do is watch.

Bump 12-14-2024 05:46 PM

that's more gay than Mahomes getting fined for the pew pew finger gun point

xztop123 12-14-2024 05:52 PM

Can he challenge that? That seems very suspect.

PHOG 12-14-2024 05:59 PM

45K?!?!?! LMAO Goodell or whoever is responsible, you've lost it.

Bearcat 12-14-2024 06:11 PM

JFC, that's like 80% of his game check before taxes.

Gravedigger 12-14-2024 06:38 PM

Pretty ****ed up tbh

Rain Man 12-14-2024 06:39 PM

That's ridiculous. There was no issue at all on that play. They must have mistaken him for some #10 on another team.

And $45K? That'll drive a late-round pick out of the league and into a regular job that pays better. That's a ridiculous amount. Rae Carruth didn't get fined that much for having someone murdered.

Yeah, he actually paid to play that game.

Megatron96 12-14-2024 06:54 PM

For that??? That's ridiculous.

Wisconsin_Chief 12-14-2024 07:10 PM

I hope Pat or Trav offers to pick this up for him. That’s utter bullshit, the guy makes poverty wages for NFL standards. That’s probably 5% of his yearly salary, that’s simply unjustified nonsense.

KC_Connection 12-14-2024 07:44 PM

An absolute disgrace. Clark better pay for that.

New World Order 12-14-2024 07:47 PM

LMAO

What?!!!

notorious 12-14-2024 07:47 PM

That happens nearly every running play.

Good lord.

Couch-Potato 12-14-2024 08:38 PM

This is absurd. That was the most typical football play I’ve ever watched, absolutely nothing there. Can he appeal?

suzzer99 12-14-2024 08:58 PM

Can he appeal?

stevieray 12-14-2024 09:08 PM

MVChiefFan 12-14-2024 09:29 PM

I would have rolled my eyes and been irritated with a $10,000 fine. But, this is absolutely asinine.

T-post Tom 12-14-2024 09:38 PM

Roger, was that you? Whoever did this: MEET ME AT THE GEORGE BRETT STATUE TOMORROW AT NOON! WE'RE GOING TO HAVE WORDS, THEN I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU THE WORST WET WILLY YOU'VE EVER HAD.

Stryker 12-14-2024 10:04 PM

Yep. It's football, man. I mean, I think it's still called that.

Demonpenz 12-15-2024 04:14 AM

There was one play that I recall in my years of football that I was fine with offensive player getting fined. It was Kareem hunt using his helmet as a battering ram into a defenders chest. I can understand that because of head and neck issues. This on the other hand didn't even look like he lowered his helmet. Total wtf

Chief Roundup 12-15-2024 07:44 AM

****ing stupid

DaFace 12-15-2024 08:47 AM

I understand why they don't want fines to be based on salary - can you imagine if Mahomes was fined like $5m for this?

But it sure feels like there should be a percent based CAP. It's asinine that they basically rescinded Pop's entire game check for this.

Wallcrawler 12-15-2024 09:35 AM

It seems ridiculously high. Aren't these usually between 10-15k?

I mean this wasn't even malicious or hot-headed, the two players didn't even so much as exchange glances at each other after the play.

Calcountry 12-15-2024 09:36 AM

They are doing their level best to get us prepared for the NFFL. National flag football league for the acronym challenged.

Chiefs4TheWin 12-15-2024 09:36 AM

I read this morning that Trey Smith and Juju also got fined for helmet hits this week, but smaller amounts. And, across the league over $400,000 in fines last week. I am guessing that we see a lot of flags for it this week.

Tis the season to get Christmas bonus's, guess the NFL is trying to raise some last minute funds!
