Dream Playoff Scenario
What's everyone hopeful scenario. Lamar or Josh in the AFC Championship which is probable? Who do you want to play in the Divisional Round?
|
Dream Playoff Scenario
We can’t (most likely) play either Allen or Lamar in the divisional. The dream scenario is Colts in the divisional then the Texans or Steelers in the championship.
|
The dream scenario is **** you, we’ll beat all comers.
|
Donks
Chargers Pat hasn't played them in the playoffs yet lol. Need to add to the scalps |
Not sure going on the road last season to Buffalo and Baltimore to deliver those ass whoopins could get any more dream scenario
So some fresh ass to whoop would be nice during the Arrowhead Invitational I guess |
I am not scared of Lamar Jackson....at all.
|
I’d like an “easy path”
-Payton out coaches McDermott, they have the D to pull it off -Chargers win the Harbaugh Bowl and then Charger is up against the Steelers -Darnold gets homefield in the NFC Broncos->Steelers->Vikings |
Screw the easy way. Other than maybe in the divisional, in case they need to shake off rust.
|
Chiefs win in the divisional round, Chiefs win the AFCCG, Chiefs win the Superbowl. Doesn't matter who. Just complete the three peat. Chiefs can beat everyone.
|
I just wanna send Boofalol home again, so we can see all the tears. And then see how they continue to spin the Josh is better than Patrick bullshit.

Divisional - Broncos
Broncos line up for a game-winning field goal in the waning seconds and the Chiefs block it to win the game by 2 points. AFCCG - Bills Tons of scoring in the final 2 minutes of the game and the Bills look like they've won the game with a TD and only 12 seconds remaining. Mahomes drives the Chiefs 40-50 yards and Butker kicks a field goal to win the game as time runs out. Super Bowl - Eagles The game is tied with just a few minutes remaining and the Chiefs drive the ball the length of the field. Eagles get called for defensive holding on a critical 3rd down play with about 1:45 remaining. The Eagles have already used all of their timeouts, so the Chiefs kill the clock and kick a field goal with just 5 seconds remaining. The Eagles have time for just one play on offense and throw a pass woefully short to end the game. |

I'm hoping the Carson Wentz led Chiefs end the Broncos playoff run before it begins. Would be even sweeter.

I see them beating Houston if they get the 5th seed |
Most likely scenario is we face the Texans or Steelers in the divisional round. Just don’t see either the Broncos or Chargers beating the Bills and Ravens on the road but if they do knock those teams off the fine.
If the Broncos whiff on getting in the most likely scenario would be the Bengals going against the Bills which would make them our first game if Cincy wins. The Bills and Ravens will likely face each other and we’ll play the winner in the Chanpionship game. Not worried about any of these teams so I have no preference on who we face. |
Chargers-easiest to win imo.
Bills-While they're the most likely to knock the Chiefs off, ripping their hearts out again is too much to pass up SB-doesnt matter Sent from my Pixel 9 Pro using Tapatalk |

The Bills defense may be the Bengals defense on a cupcake schedule

The real dream scenario is KC playing at the top of their game.
They do that, it doesn’t matter who they are playing. I think we end up playing Pittsburgh in the divisional round and Buffalo in the warmup for the Super Bowl against Detroit. |

Great Question:
Divisional round - Denver - has a really good defense and even though we are a completely different offense with Hollywood and Pacheco back in the mix, I'd rather not have another defensive nail biting game, especially in the playoffs. Depending on how week 18 plays out, beating a division rival three times in the same season is always difficult. Sandy Eggo - Harbaugh is a smart coach and Herbert is a good QB. While their Defense isn't that great they seem to be able to move the ball well, and could keep pace with us in an offensive battle. Herbert isn't as mobile as other QB's we could face and that means it would be easier for our DL to harass and sack him. Division rival games are always difficult and beating a team 3 times in the same season is always difficult. Houston - Without Tank Dell their passing offense just isn't the same, the did claim Diontae Johnson off waivers, TBD on whether he helps improve their offense. Not sure they can get past Pittsburgh in a first round battle with them. Pittsburgh - As we saw last game, Russell gonna Russell, and Pittsburgh is no match for us offensively or defensively. Championship - Baltimore - The key to a successful game against Baltimore is minimizing Lamar's success in the passing game by forcing him to run the ball/run around the pocket as well as limiting Henry in the running game. Playing ball control keep away from their offense, even though we won the previous meeting we lost TOP to Baltimore 33:43 to 26:17. Every game where we lost the TOP by 3 minutes or more was the loss against the Bills (34:03/25:57) and the close wins against the Bengals (31:29/28:31) the 2nd Raiders game (31:12/28:48) both games we probably should have lost (Bengals defensive penalty on 4th down allowed for 50 yd Butker FG as time expired and the Raiders snap fumble deep in our own territory as time was expiring) . Buffalo - As mentioned above the key to beating Buffalo is ball control offense and scoring TD's. Taking away the ability of Allen to run the ball as much as he does - forcing them to pass to keep up - is the key to beating Bufflao. Their defense is good and not turning the ball over at all costs. All that being said - I'd prefer to not have anxiety on our run to the three peat and would probably prefer a Texan/Pittsburgh rematch in the divisional and a Buffalo rematch in the Championship game. |

Bengals get in, they beat the Bills, then we beat them in the divisional, beat Pitt in the championship easily then beat the Vikings in the SB. All blowouts by 30+
|
For clarification we lost overall TOP in the following games:
@ Sandy Eggo 30:52/29:08 (17-10 Final) Vs Sandy Eggo 30:53/29:07 (19-17 Final) @ Pittsburgh 31:22/28:38 (29-10 Final) |
