Are you demorilized?
Spanked down bye the Donkeys. No points scored. Ouch.
Very sad our back ups could not have performed better. Never thought we would look that bad. Pretty sure we will kick ass in the divisional game and we need to make a statement. Disappointed in the back up plan but pretty sure the starters will throw a punch. Maybe a good thing we looked like the Bad News Bears. Now we can come out and dominate! |
They were having a fun afternoon pretending to play football with their friends.
The hatred really only exists in the fans. So too the demoralization. |
No. I am very 'morilized' about the 1st seeding, threepeating Kansas City Chiefs.
|
Before the fans were in the stadium Mahomes spent a bunch of giggly time with Nix.
|
Did anyone get hurt?
|
i'm DEMORILIZED!
i'm STERILIZED! i'm TERRORIZED! why....I'M GREECED LITENIN! |
Only concern I have is Butker :/
Hoping he gets his groove back over the next two weeks. |
No. I think we're sitting just right.
|
I'm going to live in fear of Bo Nix for two weeks.

I'm hoping that was just negative synergy and praying for Patrick not to be injured. |
Extremely disappointed. Can’t sleep.

Minnesota fans should be demoralized.

The world is ending because we went 15-2 instead of 16-1 and got the 1 seed. The end is near

Honestly was a bit disappointed at the showing until I realized it was merely a carbon copy of one team playing like it's the 2nd half of the first preseason game and the other fighting for its life. Nothing more nothing less.

I heard they’re building a statue of Bo Nix and Sean Payton locked into a deep lovers stare in front of Incestco. Dungver fans will tell their kids about this dominating performance.
|
I’d be demoralized had we lost any important starters yesterday because they were actually trying to win that game.
|
We have a Katie?
|
I didn't care about the game and was 100% in favor of resting the starters. Then the game happened and learned that I did care. I hate the ****ing Donkeys. Oh well, we'll just have to console ourselves with that bye week that we really needed and home-field advantage.
|
It was ugly. It was horrible to watch but it's over and done. Mission accomplished.
|
I am finding that I care less and less about sports as I age. I used to have a strong dislike of the Broncos due to the Pam/Vaseline incident however those people are no longer playing and it doesn't mean anything.
Good for their fans, they finally get back into the playoffs. After all, the fans didn't participate in the bending of the rules. I am slightly uneasy about the thought of any of the backups having to be put into the game if a starter is injured. Nix had time to check his email, drink a cup of coffee and then decide if he was going to throw or run. I understand that these are backups, etc. however, they looked B A D. |

I was expecting Wentz to show his talent but the OL was so bad he didn't have any time. He will probably be just fine behind the first string. Some of the FB posts by new or casual fans are humorous though. |
I actually chuckled at how little it mattered or that I cared that my team got shut out and blown out by 38 points to the shitass Donkeys. It was kind of a surreal feeling, tbh.
So no, not at all. I'm actually pretty pumped we're getting to rest our stars for nearly three weeks, especially taking into consideration that our bye week came on week 6 in the middle of October. |

I'd say the disappointing things were Wentz and Humphreys. But I also recognize the luxury that we got a chance to evaluate a looootttt of players against a team that was actually trying.
Mahomes, Jones, Pacheco resting their injuries is gigantic. Our new look OL getting several weeks to gel in practice will be huge. Mahomes and DHop and Hollywood working on timing. This is actually a point where practice means a lot more than game reps since we might rush into forcing guys to do certain concepts before they're even ready |

Hey other teams, it is Mahomes time! |

I feel if we needed Wentz in a pinch the results wouldn't be what we saw yesterday if he were lined up with the 1s. |
No one on that field gave a shit, and fans shouldn't either. It was essentially a pre season game for one team, while the other had everything riding on it. I thought Wentz would look a little better but other than that I took nothing from it.
|
No, if the Donks had played their back ups, it would have been the battle of two 3-13 teams.

Don't worry, the Donk fans will parade this win around like it was the AFC championship game and they have the secret to beating the Chiefs since they broke the string last year and came within a blocked field goal of a sweep this year. Doesn't mean shit but those of us that live out here will have to put up with their bullshit until the Chiefs beat their ass in a game that has meaning again.
|
I tried to watch it for some individual players and see if anyone showed a little extra or were downright terrible. Wentz was awful, not sure what his contract looks like, but I don't see a reason to bring him back. Also appeared that Humphries isn't ready either.
|
It was easier than stealing Vicodin from the medical staff
|
My inner child was beaten severely. But watching the broncos get destroyed Sunday will heal all wounds.
Actually watched most of it with no reaction. Except the thought that kept going thru my head, "Jesus Christ, are our backups really this bad? |
to the contrary, starters got some rest and we walked away with no significant injuries

As brutal as that was to watch, one has to take that for what it was. Our 2nd and 3rd stringers playing the Donks starters. There was no doubt how it was going to end. Andy made the right call resting as many of the starters as he could. It's not worth exposing a key player to injury, in a meaningless game, with absolutely nothing to gain. That move will payoff big time in the upcoming playoffs.
As a bonus, the bung-gals can now enjoy the playoffs from the comfort of their nice warm living room's, curled up on a couch, with a bud light and a blanket. |
We need rest and we earned it. We had an early bye week. Screw the league and screw the bengals.
|
Much easier to take than it was watching basically the same game 12 years ago. At least this time, there was solace in that it was our 2nd/3rd string squad and that it was garbage time until our first round playoff bye. :)

I just heard from a reliable insider that for the ENTIRE GAME, Butker was kicking the broken-in balls, and Wentz was throwing the K BALL!! This made all the difference! This would have been a nail biter had the equipment manager, who was not allowed to take the team flight home, not dyslexitized the dang balls. We're fine, and WEntz should probably get a few series in each playoff game, as should Prince Takehomasac at tackle.

I’m only concerned about Butker.
It does suck losing like that to the disgusting donkos, and I’m sure Sean Payton rage masturbated in his office after the game; “I beat him! I beat Andy Reid! Now I’m gonna beat you!” But it’s obvious very little effort went into planning and preparing for this game. I’ll only guess they started focusing their efforts on potential matchups in the divisional round, while also safeguarding against showing anything to a possible future opponent, should the unlikely happen (Denver beating Buffalo). |

Nope, not demoralized at all. No injuries was always the end result wanted for this game.
And as someone mentioned earlier (maybe in a different thread), Humphries isn't in game shape quite yet, and playing in pile high isn't exactly a place to become that. High altitude and all. IMHO |
I don’t care at all.
Everyone with a brain can see the chiefs didn’t care and they’d prefer to see Denver again and keep thr bungles ho,e for the post holiday winter blues. Team will be rested, healthy and ready to hurt feelings in 2 weeks when it counts. |
I am absolutely demoralized...
Shoveling snow at my woman's house and then tomorrow I get to do it all again at my house. Yay! All I can say is that snowblower better run after the amount of trouble it was to remove the carburetor and clean it. Could definitely tell some engineer decided that they were going to make it as hard as possible to work on. Really? You couldn't have a fuel shutoff for the carburetor? Instead, you have to half disassemble it just to get the carburetor off. And since it's made in CheyeNah, no parts are available except for a full CheyeNah POS carburetor that may or may not work. |

Just took a glance at the snap counts, the following players all played no more than six (6) snaps and most of them played zero:
Offense (12): Mahomes Hunt Pacheco Kelce Gray Worthy Hopkins Hollywood Thuney Creed Trey Jawaan Defense (8): George Danna Chris Wharton Bolton Drue McDuffie Reid That’s 20 starters and doesn’t even include Jaylen Watson if he returns. So yeah, it shouldn’t be a surprise that the backups who had nothing to play for got demolished by the one AFC team that HAD to win in order to make the playoffs for the first time in nearly a decade. We will all be laughing about this after the divisional round. |
nope in fact it was a victory no one got hurt and the team is back home safely
|
Reading the OP again, it gives off faint Smed vibes3.
|
They hate the Chiefs win they win, hate them when they lose. A tie is still in the air
|
Not at all. We did not play our better players. We also used preseason vanilla play calling. It seems like They would not be surprised if the Donkos beat the Bills and we have to play them in the Divisional.
|
I haven’t been this demorrilized since my second mariage.
|
Nope
