Chris Jones
I’d argue he’s only about .1% less important than Mahomes to this run. This dude is as much of a diehard as any of us. Anyone disagree?
Mainly this is an appreciation post of what this guy has done and continues to bring. |
Him crying on the bench was incredible. My man.

Etching glass murals of Spag's wife with his hardness
|
Lots of crying, some I didn’t understand. But he is a playmaker
|
A friend of mine showed me a fun tweet, Chris Jones is such a gigantic human being the cameras couldn't see if Josh got the 1st down or not.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Chris Jones head the MVP because there’s a 95% certainty that ball was across the line <a href="https://t.co/jMKx4zPtgB">pic.twitter.com/jMKx4zPtgB</a></p>— Ballsack Sports (@BallsackSports) <a href="https://twitter.com/BallsackSports/status/1883701875624800418?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 27, 2025</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
Mount Rushmore Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, Travis Kelce and GM Bart Vlanch is Crazy Horse.

My sister's best friend is very good friends with Chris and his agent (moreso the agent), but she hangs out with Chris too.
I told her tonight when her and my sister were on FaceTime after the game that if she ever were to do me a favor for being her best friend's brother, please introduce me to Chris so I can give him the biggest ****ing hug. I absolve that guy. Anybody that is a draftubator knows I banged the table for him that year. He holds a special place in my heart. |
Quote:
I was hard on him a few years ago, but also admit that he deserved the bag. He’s earned every penny. Dude is an absolute legend. I think he’s the best interior lineman in the league, definitively so since AD retired. But I don’t think we give him enough credit for how much he bleeds KC. He wants every win just as much as PM does. |
Mahomes
Kelce Chris Jones Butker That's the core and the one's that are about to play in their 5th Chiefs Superbowl! |
Is he planning to retire or something? He was crying almost every time I saw him acting like it was his last game at Arrowhead.

Haven't seen this much crying since Dick Vermeil.
Some of it I'm not even sure wtf. Like crying after stuffing the qb sneak play. Kelce probably playing around with CJ supplements and tossed some estrogen in there. |

CJ was written off as having no motor which probably dropped his draft stock. Not uncommon for a huge DT. A lot of these guys eat their way out of the league. CJ committed to a strict diet and he's stuck with it for years. You can force a guy to show up to practice but this is the type of commitment that creates a champion
|
It's gonna be exhausting making 4 trips to Canton.

I'll eat the biggest crow on him, I talked so much shit about how he didn't have any playoff sacks and I will gladly get shamed for being wrong about him. Love the guy, glad we paid him.

He was a big part of why our run defense struggled for a while. He's fixed that and then some. Canton. |
But, but, but, remember a few years back? He ain't worth the $$$. He wants to hijack the Org. He held out and was considered a traitor... the photo of him sitting in the box with two dudes from the Sapranos?

Why are people so worked up about the tears?
The game is emotional and the buildup to this game was like nothing before. The Bills were the "better team" and the Chiefs are playing for immortality. Of course there were tears. Why wouldn't there be? Emotions run high and people express them in different ways. ****ing boomer cavemen. |

I hope he's not retiring but I could see it and I'd understand why this is extra emotional for him. But he did say last year we were gonna do it again, guy just puts everything into playing, there's nothing wrong with having an emotional response to greatness

This is going to sound dumb as shit, and it’s purely anecdotal— but when I was a scrubby scout team player in college, the most emotional guys were ALWAYS the biggest dudes on the team (OL or DL). They took losses the hardest and openly wept during big wins. CJ seems as though he has that gentle giant demeanor. Just a theory. |

jones was crying because he was scared for his opponents lives. he’s a caring guy

Did anyone else get the impression ole Clete was having the inner monologue like Geralt where he is just going "****!" because he knew this play was basically calling the game and they really didn't have a clear cut view to call it either way with 100% accuracy? He knew it was going to be the topic of discussion for a lot of people.

You all realize that Chris goes to the sideline and has a squirt bottle for his contacts\eyes right? They caught it on camera last week as he was squirting an eye after a possession. He likely gets dry eyes during the game so he does it throughout when he gets the opportunity.

I ****ing love Chris Jones
|
I also noticed another D player had tears flowing as well. Maybe Spags let them know this is it for him and is taking a HC job? Maybe several D players have dry eyes and the eye solution was flowing on Sunday? Who knows
|
Quote:
He DOES get emotional at the beginning of games, you can see the tears flowing. But these sideline shots I think are eyedrops. |

The other lineman had the better view and was deferred to. Thats my guess anyway. |
Dude needs to get some Meibo and be the spokesperson

His stats were ****ing insane last night.
PFF had him at 8 pressures, 6 hurries, and 2 hits Jones could have been the MVP of last night. He was kicking the shit out of the Bills line. |

Much respect to Chris Jones. Def proving me wrong when I was questioning resigning him. |
Alot of the draftubators wanted to let Jones walk and re-sign Sneed.
Some of them want to let Bolton walk too. I'll say this wwre about to see the value of Bolton in the super bowl |

Is that Worthy’s ex?

It's probably more difficult than you'd think for CJ to keep a girl with his massive dong.
There was a guy in my high school with his shit hanging down past his knees in the locker room and the girls couldn't handle it they said. |
Chris got himself a Colombia woman.
