It's been a horrible year for aviation

Pepe Silvia 01-31-2025 06:31 PM

They are being vaporized from space.

Coochie liquor 01-31-2025 06:39 PM

The video I saw had red and yellow explosions. Thought it was Mahomes shutting up some trash talking?

Hog's Gone Fishin 01-31-2025 06:42 PM

Eagles already trying to come up with excuses for losing!

BlackHelicopters 01-31-2025 06:48 PM

Tragic.

It has been outdated or was 20 years ago. The odds catch you sooner or later.

Another trans pilot?

Gary Cooper 01-31-2025 07:04 PM

Plane was heading to Springfield/Branson.

Why Not? 01-31-2025 07:16 PM

Shitty but smaller, private planes go down, I wouldn’t necessarily say frequently but it’s hardly rare. My best buddy has a 4 seater. Love the guy but there’s no way in hell I’d ever fly in his bird.

ping2000 01-31-2025 07:43 PM

Pediatric patient on board. This really sucks.

displacedinMN 01-31-2025 07:45 PM

looking at the video it cannot be freefalling

Engine may have been engaged. Wonder if it lost cabin pressure or pilot health issue

Megatron96 01-31-2025 07:49 PM

Heard just now that it was reported that the plane was on fire already as it hurtled to the ground.

FYI, if anyone was thinking about Reerun. He has check in to Discord.

GabyKeepsMeWarm 01-31-2025 10:12 PM

Ugh... that thing went down like a ****ing meteor. And for such a "small plane", that sure created a big ****ing explosion. Terrible.

PHOG 02-01-2025 11:29 AM

I saw this morning that it was Mexican nationals on the plane. Flying to Branson, and then on to Mexico. RIP

BWillie 02-01-2025 11:35 AM

That is why I am unreasonable afraid and am driving my ass to Reno/Tahoe instead of flying in April.

driving is orders of magnitude more likely to result in a deadly accident than flying, especially if you're flying commercial

Colorado had 1 in February, 2 in June, 1 in September, 1 in October, 2 in November of last year.

No thanks.

Just took off, so probably had 1,400 lbs. of fuel onboard still

Yep, it had just enough to make it to Branson I would guess (plus some for incidental flying).
