We bought tickets last night! Being present for a 3-peat, no guarantee they will get another chance, and we aren’t getting any younger!

Good for you, but I can't justify the cost. I'll stay in the comfort of my home.

3900 per plus fees. I constantly checked Ticketmaster, TicketsForLess, and Stubhub. Stubhub looks like a bargain. But, their fees are ridiculously high. TicketsForLess is highest…but, no fees. Total price was higher. I went with Ticketmaster. Fees still. Tax was on purchase, not per ticket. So, total was ~9700.

We also bought a parking garage pass, before everything close is gone.

Then, hotel. We’re driving down. Got a room at a town about 50 miles out, $148 per night. Gas will be about $175-200. So, gas and time.

This time felt different. I’m 62, lifelong fan. Regretting not going to Miami for 54. No guarantee they’ll go again in my life. I can drive to this one. We decided it was worth it, make some payments on the credit card. Crazy, but we’re able to pay it, blessed…made it a priority.

That reaction (BigRed’s) is why I quit visiting the site. Always some a$$hole jumping on others about some unwritten rules about posting and other people’s opinions. Not a lot of fun being on the defensive all the time.

We went to Vegas last year for the parties and atmosphere. Amazing time! Never got into the game, but the tickets were $10K+ that time….

Yep, we did Vegas as well. Watched the game at Circus Swim. Had a fabulous time so we are going again!

I’ll be yelling from our watch party here outside Wichita. It’s going to be an awesome day. It’s hard to beat Food, Family/Friends and Football. When Patrick hoist the trophy, I will be taking a shot Chiefs Crown Royal for Haywire. It’s the only time I will crack it open is for celebratory Super Bowl wins. Hope all you ****ers have a blast… watch out for your kidneys. Smoke those cigars and maybe hoist one for Haywire too. Maybe an extra one for those others who have passed on to celebrate with us also.

I don't think I've drank twice in the last 5 years. It just occurred to me that I have all this stuff that I thought "I'll do XXX when the Chiefs are winning the SB" and most of it hasn't been opened or used.

Might as well use this shit at some point. Bathe it in the good mojo of a KC SB victory and employ it whenever necessary down the road. Like the opposite of a murder in a house or something...

I have a Crown Town Ale bottle, but never bothered with the Chiefs version they did... too bad they can't sponsor with them to slap their name on it. Much prefer the Mano's wine etched bottles for that reason.

I did a lot of ‘shopping’. I found TicketsForLess to be highest, despite “never a fee”. Base price higher. Then, Stubhub was ridiculous! 1200 per ticket ‘fee’ and $452 per ticket for ‘taxes’. I settled on Ticketmaster. Fee was around 800 per ticket…and taxes was $280 on whole purchase, not per ticket. So ~9700 spent.

Chiefs just went by our airbnb in the busses headed towards Superdome, 10:15 local time. I assume for media day events. Eagles came through yesterday afternoon directly from airport I'd guess. I think they're staying at the nearby Hilton because we went to a restaurant there yesterday and there was nothing but Eagles NFC banners and lots of Eagles fans and tight security.

I mean...it's vodka. There's nothing special about it. Or really any vodka. As long as it's quality I guess.

I'm sure this is well made, but they are all pretty much the same. They are distilled multiple times and any flavor is pretty well wrung out of them...this is on purpose by the way. Most Vodka has very little flavor, and that's how you know it's good.

It's also boring as ****, and is only really good for cocktails.
