I'm hearing Caleb has painted his nails black to mark her passing.

I wonder if the Bears will improve now like the Blackhawks did after Dollar Bill Wirtz croaked.

Funny story - the day of Wirtz's funeral, a group of the senior partners were having a conversation about him near my desk. The Blackhawks were dreadful back then, and the words "I wonder if they'll improve now that the cheap prick is dead" were poised on the tip of my tongue, but then my Spidey-senses kicked in and I held silent. Almost immediately, one of them said "Well, who's driving?" They all knew him and were going to funeral. :eek:

No. I seriously doubt if a 100-year-old woman had much to do with the day-to-day operations of the team. They definitely need new ownership.
