Is there anyway after someone makes a pick we can edit the Starting thread so the players gone are there?

I will try to get that ability. Last year LVNHACK was able to do it.

Rain Man 03-14-2004 12:00 PM

I'm here. Do I get first pick?

Did whoman make a rule that you have to screw up the Vikings' pick and let two or three others go ahead of you? For realism's sake we should probably do that.

chiefscafan 03-14-2004 12:23 PM

Chiefscafan here

Big D (Dallas)

Lions ready to go got a while before i pick but i'm here

Carolina ready to go ...

whoman69 03-14-2004 12:25 PM

I think Chiefsplanet time is a little slow so we will wait for it to catch up. 5 minutes between picks, but try to get them in as quickly as possible, its going to be a long time waiting 5 mins for every pick

Ebolapox 03-14-2004 12:26 PM

hey rory, you're picking for carolina and you want the CHIEFS to get vincent?? :p

It's a good thing that Bartee isn't participating. I've been waiting four years for him to make a pick.

With the 2nd pick of the 2004 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders pick Mike Williams, WR, USC.

I know he's come up the board, but isn't that a reach...or are you just going for realism with the Raiders. :hmmm:

chiefscafan 03-14-2004 12:40 PM

Saul off the subject but how are the washburn icabods doing this year in basket ball I use to have season tickets.

whoman69 03-14-2004 12:40 PM

Cardinals with a proxy vote pick Vince Willfork DT Mia

My cheatsheet has him listed as the #1 talent in the whole draft. Kinda surprised me after the Manning and Fitzgerald lovefests.

He's come up quite a bit. It was a toss up between him and Fitz. Went for the closer to home guy.

chiefscafan 03-14-2004 12:42 PM

Berman: mel is that a little early to take williams

Mel Kipper: well chris both fitzgerald and Williams are quality wide outs and I guess al davis feels comfortable with what he has at qb.

Berman: arizona on the clock

Mel: they'll go for fitszgerald out of pittsburgh with this pick.

They are going to play NWMSU again (4th time this year) in the tourney. We lead the series 2-1.

whoman69 03-14-2004 12:45 PM

Proxy for the Giants Ben Roethlisberger QB

royr17 03-14-2004 12:45 PM

Who has control of the Ravens on here ?

Saulbadguy 03-14-2004 12:45 PM

Whos representing the giants?

whoman69 03-14-2004 12:45 PM

Proxy for the Redskins Robert Gallery OT.

Saulbadguy 03-14-2004 12:46 PM

Deadskins turn. Can you update the draft board for who has picked who?

WTF too Roethlisberger with Gallery still on the board?

Collins has played really well, imo, for NYG. He is fairly young and signed long term.

Terrible pick that fugged up my whole board. :banghead:

RealSNR 03-14-2004 12:47 PM

Dolphins and Titans signing in

Saulbadguy 03-14-2004 12:47 PM

Patriots turn

From what i read, this is whos off on the board :

WR Mike Williams

I agree.

chiefscafan 03-14-2004 12:49 PM

now it gets interesting

Berman: Mel so the lions traded out of the sixth spot with the pats for their two picks was this smart.

Mel: To be honest chris I don't know what chiefscafan was thinking passing up on a talent like sean taylor. the pats the defending champs are in great position to jump further ahead of the rest of the league once again.

realism you got to love it espn kissing the pats buts again and down playing the rest of the afc.

BTW Baltimore is still available, yours if you want.

rich karlis 03-14-2004 12:49 PM

Collins is 31, i think?

I had a trade set up for pitt to move from 11 to 6th if Roth was still on the board. NYG OLine is terrible. Best LT in the draft sitting there, a ready to start rookie, and they take a QB to sit behind Collins for 2-3 years.

royr17 03-14-2004 12:51 PM

Ok, i'll take Baltimore ...

2nd traded to the 49ers for TO

sad but true... I didn't even have wilfork in my top ten, actually... and gallery's a PERFECT fit for NY

-EBOLA-...oh well

chiefscafan 03-14-2004 12:53 PM

chris berman: We are on the phone with Gm of the lions chiefscafan.

Berman: So why trade down

chiefscafan: I wanted to sleep in! LOL

Berman: Mel kiper says it was a bad move to move down this late in this draft.

chiefscafan: Well first tell mel to quit using so much gell for his hair cause it is affecting his brain.

Berman laughs

mel kiper looks upset

Chiefscafan: Stay tuned boys we have a plan at work.

Converted WR that only played the position 1 1/2 years. I was hoping to trade down with the Steelers, but Hoov messed that up with his questionable QB pick.

Rain Man 03-14-2004 12:55 PM

Well, this is surprising the Cleveland Browns. Three of our top guys are on the board. Does anyone above Pick 10 want to trade up?

We're pondering. Just a moment.

chiefscafan 03-14-2004 12:56 PM

chiefscafan scratching his head what the heck is goin on in this draft?

thanks Saul I love the icabods Clarence tyson was my favorite player i think he plays in turkey now. Do you remember him?

Ebolapox 03-14-2004 12:56 PM

don't blame em'... if the chiefs had the means, I'd be tempted to draft the guy (he's ready to start NOW, though, and he'll anchor somebody's line for the next ten years)

The Atlanta Falcons politely decline any notion of a trade.
