In the Biggest Game of the Year, Only One Star Showed Up for the Chiefs
That was the real difference in the game.
Fisher, nominally a Pro Bowler, got whipped all day Hill and Kelce were complete non factors Jones and Houston did nothing Ford did less than nothing Mahomes had a bottom tier game, but still led two scoring drives down with under four minutes left. He was at his best when it mattered most. The Chiefs will be back, but their best players can't pull a John Starks in the biggest game of their career. |

Mahomes had a “bottom tier game”.
Lol. He had a 117 rating vs 114 on the season. He was fine. |
It says a lot when Daniel Sorenson was our best defender last night. It’s like he was one of the few players who showed up on defense.

Bottom tier game = 295yards and 3 tds and a 117 passer rating?
What a time to be alive |

If this defense can sign 1 legit corner, 1 legit linebacker, and some depth it is an entirely different and more dangerous animal. |
When does Fisher not get his ass whipped by good teams?

Could have used him in 1995 |
QUARTERBACK COMPARISON
T. Brady AFC Championship 30/46, 348 pass yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, 77.1 passer rating P. Mahomes AFC Championship 16/31, 295 pass yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 117.0 passer rating Man...if you knew that would be the stat line for the QB's, you would have said the Chiefs win handily. It's really remarkable. This game played out just like the last time we played them really. Shit the bed in the first half, 31 points in the 2nd half, took the lead briefly...but just not quite enough. I hope they learn from this. |
The fact Fisher is a probowler is thickening.
