Thanks in large part to a pretty amazing Bullpen.

That's really the key. Especially in today's baseball. If your bullpen does well it'll keep you in games. I wouldn't rank this team at the top of the league quite yet but if the bullpen continues to be decent they'll be competitive.

That kind of scares me a little bit, honestly. Was kind of hoping they would sit him for the 2 gamer against Pitt. and bring him back ready to go for this weekend against Minny. Hopefully a little thing doesn't turn into a bigger thing. Can't afford to be without his bat in the lineup for very long. We need a 100% Salvy to go anywhere this year . . . . . .

Guess I'll just have to trust the Royals medical staff and they know what they're doing.

I tried a quick search and didn't see anything. Has anybody read or seen updates on when capacity at the K might expand to a higher level than the 25%ish that we're at now?

Hmm, I wonder if the Royals will get close to that number on a nightly basis in May?

If they keep winning, I'd imagine they will.

Whats the deal with buying tickets through the Royals MLB site?

Do they go up at the start of each home series, no advanced purchase?

Chris Meck 04-27-2021 01:39 PM

man, the really great thing is...

If it's close to the all-star break and we're still in this race, you might well have a good reason to bring the kids up.

If Witt's raking, it might even be sooner.

But the pitchers? Man.

Absolutely. I'm a KU fan, and I would have bet any amount of money that they would not win the National Title this year even as a #3 seed. Yet I wanted them to win it with all my heart.

Great news all around. I have a feeling Salvy & Whit & Soler are about to go on a tear.

I have tickets to the May 8 game, because we bought a suite for everyone on staff and worked on a group package deal. As I was talking to the rep, before they released the suite capacity they were working on capacity for all the May and June games together. My guess is you'll soon see the next two months released all at the same time, and there will be a lot of info from the Royals coming out when they do.

Does it say which series they will open up? Hopefully it's all of May and June.

Oooops, guess its 10am CT tomorrow ;)

KANSAS CITY, MO. (April 27, 2021) – The Kansas City Royals will expand stadium capacity for May games at Kauffman Stadium. Single-game tickets to May home games will go on sale tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. CT exclusively at www.royals.com.

The Royals will provide 3-foot socially distanced pod-style seating to accommodate 17,400 fans per game in May. Future single-game ticket availability will be determined on a month-by-month basis until Kauffman Stadium can operate at full capacity. Ahead of future single-game ticket releases, capacity limits will be reviewed each month based on Kansas City health and safety protocols.

In addition to pod-style seating, several additional policies and protocols will be in place to ensure the health and safety of everyone at the ballpark, including:

• In accordance with MLB protocols, face coverings are required at all times unless eating or drinking

• Tickets and parking will only be accessible on mobile devices via the MLB Ballpark app

• All tickets and parking must be purchased in advance

The best way to ensure the best seats at the lowest prices for May and future games is securing a Season Ticket Membership. Please visit www.royals.com/seasontickets.

For more information about Kauffman Stadium’s health and safety updates in 2021, visit www.royals.com/safety.
