They are hyper-conservative, fiscally and the owner definitely treats the Rangers like a business in which he wants to maximize profits. Suely Matias hit a ball today that was estimated at 500 feet. I want to see the video, but they said it destroyed a palm tree out beyond the bullpen, Matheny said its the farthest he has ever seen a ball hit, he thought it was over 500.

Would be really nice to see him realize his potential.

It's hard to see him becoming viable in the majors with contact rates of 48%, 61% and 58%. I've given up on him even as young and toolsy as he is.
