If the Royals are trying to field the best team, BWJ would get the call. I understand trying to manage service time but it will be painful to watch Nicky Lopez, especially if he hits like he did this spring (.378 OPS - in AZ where numbers are typically inflated).

Guys, Bobby Witt Jr is not coming up. Let it go. We are not title contenders right now. Bringing up BWJ at this point would be monumentally stupid.

I'd give the SS job to BWJ. When Mondesi is healthy, he can start playing CF in Omaha.
