And I still don't agree that it's "the most important race of the season." It may be the most popular, the most coveted, but it's not worth any more than any other race (and you lose your car for the rest of the year) AND it's not during the chase. So it's just the most popular race of the year and a welcome relief from useless Sundays!

I think its import from the standpoint of we know there is going to be the big wreck and maybe even 2-3. Guys like Stewart who are out already are down in the hole pretty big after one race.
