Anyone here in Minnesota and wanting to earn some cash?
 

My firm is working on a research contract in Minnesota and I need some people to stand around outside for a couple of weeks. It's pretty easy work doing observational research (watching people and taking notes, so no talking to people and no covid risk), and it pays $18 an hour. Real cash, not casino cash.

Is this something I can do from home?

Are we allowed to talk back if someone asks us a question or do we simply take notes about how they react to us taking notes?

Yes, if your home is in Minnesota and moves around a lot.

I can act like I'm observing people from Minnesota....

Watched two people at a 4 way stop wave each other through for 4 whole minutes.

Observed a man hold the door open for a woman at 30 yards. Woman rushed, man told her no worries, followed by 10 seconds of awkwardness.

"Ope."

Observed someone apologize to a stranger for absolutely no reason, just to have the stranger apologize to them back.

Sounds like a wonderful opportunity, Mr. Rain Man.

A guy explained to me today that they call it "Minnesota nice". It's almost like Canada here.

I have a neighbor who was born and raised in Minnesota, he still has the accent. Can I get paid for standing around and watching him?

I have a pretty decent binocular.

I'm mining my network too, which is pretty much just displaced.

I guess it depends on your eyesight and the curvature of the earth.
