Was Yesterdays Game The Most Memorable Chiefs Playoff Game Ever?

Petro on 810 said it was even if we lose to the Titans.

Absolutely.

We took our playoff history and turned it on its head with our QB who is proving to be the honest-to-god football equivalent of Michael Jordan. At 24 years old.

Yesterday epitomized the new era of this team and what it means to be a Chiefs fan. We're flipping the entire ****ing script on the 50 years prior.

It is the most memorable game in which something good happened. Its as memorable as the Lin game and the Colts pants shitting.

It is for me. especially the past 30 years.
The 71 Christmas game is the only one I can think of topping it.

DT came down from heaven and popped that ball into Darwin's arms.

I'd buy THAT for a dollar.

Greatest QB performance in the Playoffs. Mahomes had a defining, record-breaking game.

Sassy Squatch 01-13-2020 02:39 PM

Hope it isn't.

Far and away the best game I've ever seen at Arrowhead, considering importance. I let myself get worried for about 3 minutes and then thought, "****, the first quarter isn't even over yet and we have PMII"

comochiefsfan 01-13-2020 02:41 PM

Yes.

Until next week that is.

wazu 01-13-2020 02:43 PM

So he’s saying it’s more memorable than Superbowl IV?

Sassy Squatch 01-13-2020 02:44 PM

It will go down in history like the 2014 Wild Card game for the Royals. Or the 2015 Houston series.

To me a memorable one is a game we win, not a game we lose because a kicker misses 3 FGs.

More like the most forgettable playoff game in a slew of many.

I still get the shakes thinking about that Christmas evening.......:deevee:

Up to this point, yeah.

Win the Hunt trophy this weekend at Arrowhead and then it won't be.

We win this weekend and the fans won’t leave for hours after the game. That place is going to be crazy during that ceremony.

I’m probably going to cry.
