I’ve never understood this logic. Sure, you’d rather not be hoping for a good day from 2 people playing directly against each other, but you gotta start your best players.

Its not like starting a RB will guarantee the other defense ends up in the negative. Charles could rush for 150 yds and a TD, but Chiefs only score 10 and give up 3 INTs.

So which defense would you start? Chiefs or Bucs? I have the Chiefs starting right now based on how they played against the Ravens last week.

TE question:

J. Cook (TEN) vs. PIT
B. Celek (PHI) vs. DET

That’s a tough one. KC could be a rising D. But KC only shut down BAL because they had so many dropped passes, it wasn’t like KC was hitting them in the mouth all game. And Quinn’s flaw has been decision-making. I’d go with TB.

But I’ve given shitty advice in this thread, so you should probably do the opposite.

I think I might just have to go with the Bucs defense. I just have to hope that we don't try and abuse that 32nd ranked run defense.

I could always just not start a defense. It would get me 0 points....but I wouldn't have to worry about negative points.

Celek. I read somewhere Detroit is one of the highest teams to give up points to a TE. And Celek has wrecked Detroit in his career.

That’s what I was thinking. DET was gold for me last year – Stafford and Calvin on my team, and I generally killed the waiver wire by picking up guys who were playing against them.

Its so hard to say what’s going to happen with a new QB in the mix. Crennel could repeat the “run, run, run” plan, or get a hardon thinking about having someone other than Cassel and try to throw down field. Quinn could dominate, or he could be so bad Stanzi gets in.

But the things we do know – KC is at the bottom on the “turnovers forced” list with 4, while TB has 8. KC is ranked 11th at yards given up (compared to TB at 15), but I just assume that’s because opponents have had so many short fields.

Maybe watch the injury list to see who is missing more starters?

I'm in the same boat. Everywhere I read before the regular season said he'd be somewhat of a sleeper. He's been a big turd.

He's got a favorable matchup this week. I think I am giving him one more week. But Vick Ballard is somewhat intriguing this week too.

RealSNR 10-11-2012 04:55 PM

Pick two RBs out of these three to start:

Law Firm @ Cleveland
DeMarco Murray @ Baltimore
Alfred Morris vs. Minnesota

OR

Would you start all three and bench Reggie Wayne?

Unsmooth-Moment 10-11-2012 10:14 PM

I started Kenny Britt this week because Greg Jennings and Hakeem Nicks are still questionable. I'll take 60 yards and a td to get me through the bye weeks/injuries!

lewdog 10-11-2012 10:18 PM

I have law firm too
