Theres plenty of blame to throw around up there, from Pace to the generational dysfunction of ownership... but Nagy did little to rise above it, his offenses regressed badly

Honestly I want Mahomes to take the next step and just Manning himself in real time at the LOS.
I don't really care about who fills the OC position. |
Ive said this before but I believe Kafka is the next man up and we may even lose him if EB doesnt move on.
If no one hires EB this year, with all the coaches that have been fired then I have to wonder if EB ever gets a shot. He must not interview well or maybe hes just to short, hell I dont know. Im in agreement with some of you here, the Bears games I watched were awful as far as offensive scheme and play calling. Like, really bad. Enough to scare me away from Nagy. If Andy found a way to make it work and brought him back, then I would be ok with it as its usually best to defer to Andy! |
Kafka is the future OC of this team and possible head coach.
I don't know why I believe it but I do |
Hm yeah. I want the guy that called the entire second half abortion playoff loss to Tennessee back.
Sounds real ****ing neato. |

No.
I don't want him to get that Trubisky stench on Mahomes. |
It's close enough that I always remember...

Also he believes in analytics unlike Bieniemy |
I think he stepped into a disaster in Chicago that would have broken anybody. Pace was basically their Pioli. The Trubisky/Glennon fiasco, all the bungled drafts and traded picks that could have been used to fill the glaring holes they have now, none of that is on Nagy. Simply put, he was doomed to fail from the start.
I'd be fine with him coming back. |
No. Kafka has been with Mahomes since day 1. He knows and understands his many strengths, and few weaknesses. He is the heir apparent to Bienemy (at least in my mind), and I feel someone will take him from us if we don’t promote him.

Nagy did a great job in kc. Alex smith was the least Alex smithy under his watch. And he did great with mahomes. I’d rather have Kafka but I wouldn’t sell short what he can do if he’s kept way in check.

good luck pedaling Bienemy to someone to create space for Nagy
