Look on the bright side...

Hung 530 yds on a decent defense.

Mahomes Magic is back. Doesn’t appear to be hindered.

Every remaining game but one is very winnable. And that game is winnable with a good effort.

Just one of those comedy-of-errors games that has no business being close but somehow turns into a loss. Shit happens.

Mahomes was indeed awesome, it's a shame that performance was wasted this week.

We should probably be thrilled with 6-4 considering all the injuries we've had. I think people had way too high of expectations for this team this year, (me included).

Without all the injuries this season looks totally different. Even so, IF we can get healthy, we can still make a run in the playoffs.

Don’t get me wrong, I want to break my TV when shit like this happens. But even the Titans are shocked that they weren’t blown out. That’s the important takeaway. A highly improbable finish shouldn’t change longterm expectations.

Absolutely, we'll be fine, as long as we don't run into the f*****g Titans again.

This team stresses me out like no other that has come before it.
They can beat anyone, anywhere.......... but they are just as likely to lose in an excruciating fashion to anyone, anywhere. I can't even properly enjoy that epic jump pass from Mahomes. This loss will forever taint it.

This is where I’m confused.

2017 had a weaker defense, Alex Smith and a weaker group of receivers. But we expect the same outcome?

This is last year’s team with a defense that can get more stops, a few more weapons on offense, a tougher schedule and injuries.

What did we all say after the AFCC? Just give us a defense that can get one or two more stops. This is it.

Not having as much pressure might prove to be a positive.

Last year at this time, NE was a game better with 3 blowout losses. And they weren’t decimated by injuries or forced to play multiple games without Brady.

I’m not worried. It will be satisfying to be right, while you will all feel like pussies for doubting Mahomeslice.

I’m still laughing that you paid Gruden.

Relying more on the draft than FA won’t be such a bad thing.

You’ll still get your two ass-beatings per year.

Who gives a shit about Mahomes Magic at this point? These pricks on defense (plus Sammy Watkins) just cancel it out anyway.

we just ****ing blew it, and the players reactions in that locker room tell you how ****ing devastating it was

they just realized they aren't that good of a football team even with the league MVP balling out

this team has ONE CHANCE to get their swagger back and it's by winning the next three

YontsRBake 11-10-2019 07:31 PM

We’re winning out.

Bears have an offense our defense can actually dominate and the Pats are a joke that can’t beat a winning team. Our toughest game left is Chargers in LA and I still highly like our chances.

9 wins or maybe even 8 would get a wc in the AFC this year. Problem is we keep losing all the tiebreakers. I still think this team wins at least 10 games though.

safeties are defending the end zone there, as they should

if you're in man coverage over the middle in cover 2 man you're ****ed

10 games in, all that we’ve learned is that the team isn’t the dominant force we’d hoped for.

When healthy, this team is better than last year on both sides of the ball. The difference (aside from injuries) is that we’re not getting the lucky breaks, such as Case Keenum missing a wide open TD for the win.

Red Dawg 11-10-2019 07:41 PM

Blues fans saw this dance 100 times.

The Backes/Oshie squads of about 6 years ago always thought they were better than they were. Then they'd half-ass a game, get blown off the ice and in the post-game say the same shit over and over again.

"We realize we need to play 60 minutes"
"Gotta play a 200 ft game"
"We need to go to the dirty areas and pay the price for the W"

Blah blah blah. Rinse, repeat.

Said the same shit and lost the same ways for 5 years until they finally flushed that shit and built a new core. O'Reilly came in and was the player Backes thought he was. He was a true captain and leader. And then the Blues finally won instead of trying to force it with guys who have the soul of a semifinalist.

This teams not gonna learn from a ****ing thing. Losers never do.

The Chiefs haven’t had a losing record since Reid’s been here.

Besides, last year was year one of an era and they should have appeared in the SB. Pardon me if I’m not throwing in the towel, especially considering that this roster and staff is better when healthy.

They’ve lost one flukey game in which they badly outplayed the opponent, one because Matt Moore started, one because they were missing their top two receivers, and one because they faced a really good team and were dicked by officiating.

Um, not to argue, but the Blues were dead last on January 7 of last year. Just a few days shy of the half-way mark, 37 games in the books. And they lost a lot more than 4 games.

And things didn't get any better, in spite of the revamped roster, until they benched Jake Allen for an unknown and unheralded rookie goalie, Jordan Binnington, IIRC. Oh, and they bought into the system as a team. But we won't talk about that, because it would spoil the narrative.

Blues made the playoffs damn near every year in that run.

Still had no concept of the kind of consistent effort or drive it took to win a title. They'd always trip over their dicks in the post-season and in ways we all saw coming because you saw glimpses of it in the regular season.

this team isn't real....it's empty calories

Eat a bag o' dicks, Clay. Two days ago you were stroking your peenie all over the board that Mahomes was back and "the Riedian Run" was imminent and unstoppable.

The Blues got hot after firing their coach. Berube probably threatened to destroy souls and his players responded.

TimeForWasp 11-10-2019 08:36 PM

We will not be taking week 17 off this year.

Still think we win out and wind up having Bal as the team to beat in the AFC. Did you see that run Jackson made today? Amazing athlete.

RaidersOftheCellar 11-10-2019 09:02 PM

It would be one thing if they were actually outplayed, but that’s not what happened.

I won’t be at all surprised if this team is 12-4. Worse than 10-6 would be a major shock.

I’m still laughing that you paid Gruden.

Relying more on the draft than FA won’t be such a bad thing.

You’ll still get your two ass-beatings per year.

Gruden doesn't go against the cap... Who cares what they pay him, You sound like Bernie

Just like I said, The Raiders will beat a couple they are not supposed to and lose a few they are supposed to win.

Raiders will make some noise but no threat for the playoffs this year.

Finally saw that run on ESPN during the highlight reel. That Hass to be one of the all-time great runs by any player. Say what you want about that guy, he’s an incredible runner and athlete.

they just realized they aren't that good of a football team even with the league MVP balling out

this team has ONE CHANCE to get their swagger back and it's by winning the next three

if NE takes them out, they're just playing out the string...we might even see Mahomes quit

not saying this team can't turn it around, but it's gut check time. the next month decides who the contenders really are.

put up or shut up.

We have seen who this team is. We keep ignoring it based off last season. They are a 10 win team at best. If that gets them into the playoffs, they're 1st round fodder. Either way, this is a wasted season.

This is going to make it easy not to spend money this off season.

They're not going to care if he has them relevant in Las Vegas. Money will not be an issue.
