True....they're the ones saying KU fans are obsessed without the ability to see that they're just as bad....that's what I should have stated......by all means carry on

I've said several times that I'm still interested in Kansas and the Big 12. There's nothing wrong with being interested in teams you've played for years. Just don't pretend you no longer care while posting about Mizzou and the SEC nonstop.

Prison Bitch 08-05-2013 08:33 AM

Exactly. What KU fan has said "I don't care"? I care, I think several admitted this. It's a strawman argument that doesn't exist. I'll alwyas laugh at Mizzou's latest failure. Too fun not to.

That said, Mizzou fans are mostly bringing up SEC related topics whereas KU fans are mostly bringing up...SEC related topics.

Of course, other conferences don't get a lot of press compared to the SEC, so that's not entirely unexpected. It's not as if the states of Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, and West Virginia are media hotbeds. Texas is the only state in the conference that people pay attention to, and the only interesting program of late moved to the SEC.

Most schools couldn't care less about what other people "care about". Most schools care about their own trophy case.

Well, all for one school that is.

Their greatest moment might've been 2002. When they beat 0-8 Kansas and were so happy, they tore down their own goalposts:

What happened there? Did their players try to storm off with pieces of the field after a big win or something? I've heard of tearing down the goalposts, but these kids today...I just don't understand their celebrations.

Iowa State has arguably the best coach in college basketball. http://www.cbssports.com/collegebask...ump-to-the-nba

Was that the year Kansas finished behind Mizzou in the conference standings, the final polls, and the scoreboard?

Stop trying to make ISU relevant. It's not going to happen.

No I'm not making them relevant, but Fred Hoiberg and Paul Rhoads are.
