A big PFF finger to Stanford Routt and Scott Pioli

The final word on Stanford Routt.

Out of 69 corners (basically every starting CB in the league):

57th overall

41st in coverage

59th in penalties

66th in yards allowed

69th in yards per reception allowed

69th in yards after catch allowed

62nd in QB rating against

Routt was also dead last (70th) in yards per cover snap, which is hard to do when you play as many snaps as he did.

In fact, if you expand the list to include players who have less than 100 snaps, Routt drops to 153rd!!!!!!!!

Remember, Remember, the 5th of November.

How are Carr's PFF ratings this year?

This is a thread about a player who is not in the NFL.

We will not discuss NFL players in this thread.

I mean, in the TD catch one, he had position, he even read the QBs eyes and went with the ball...and then basically cushioned the WR to the ground after he made the catch.

Good lord, that is just AWFUL.

I don't think we can really make fun of the guy. He banked $3,000,000 for those 8 games and now he's banking $3,000,000 more to sit in front of his PlayStation for the last half of the season. He's the smartest one of all.

I agree and I never got this signing in the first place. This is Routt's 8th season and he has basically only started for three seasons. He had one good year as a #2 CB. Other than that he has stunk when starting. He was basically a nickelback. You know what a player is by the end of his third season imo.

Hence the finger.

He probably laughed as he left team facilities.

This whole season should be highlighted by gifs of epic fail that this team is. A collection of gifs would be better than a year end review NFL film of the 2012 Kansas City Chiefs.

Scott Pioli is like someone taking a dump in an ice cream cone and handing it to you in the park on a hot July day.
