Man what's with the Browns and whining?
Apparently after the game Myles Garrett said our coach should have gotten ejected because touching another teams player isn't cool.

Ejection and fine is automatic. Even if a coach pushes you because he thinks you’re purposely stepping on his player (and I actually don’t think it was on purpose by Harrison) you can’t open-hand shove a coach in the face. <a href="https://t.co/jeWzEu1kUo">pic.twitter.com/jeWzEu1kUo</a></p>— Charles Robinson (@CharlesRobinson) <a href="https://twitter.com/CharlesRobinson/status/1437158019742289926?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 12, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
That’s not cool, but yanking a backup QB’s helmet off and trying to beat him with it is.
|
He should have, to be honest.

A penalty? Fine. But throwing him out of the game? He was just trying to protect his player. He wasn’t even overly aggressive. |
The Browns apparently don't think Harrison should have been ejected either...saying Humphrey shoved Harrison causing him to step on CEH and then he was attacked by a Chiefs coach.
|
Also, Garrett is the same guy that tried to pull the race card after hitting another player with a helmet. Who gives a **** what he says?
|
Yeah he's not wrong.
Maybe the player shouldn't have punched back? |
i dont know - the coach was trying to get his foot off of our player. Dont have a problem with how he reacted. The browns' coaches would have done the same.
I think the foot was on purpose, so that sways me a bit. Maybe it wasnt though? |

A push does not deserve a punch in that situation. As a player, I'd never hit anyone other than another player. You just can't do that.
Emotions though. |
Myles Garrett has zero room to talk. Should have been charged with assault in that helmet fiasco a couple years ago.
|
It’s the precedent. Under no circumstances should a player ever touch an opposing coach or referee.
