I know. I despised the Jar Jar Binks character, and that was just one weak character in a line of them.

There are countless possibilities yet Lucas picked the one that doesn't make any sense and virtually negated everything about the character that many people loved.

I agree with this - but again, not because they're kid movies - it's because they're horrible.

You really should watch those Plinkett reviews - at least the review of Phantom Menace. The review is far better than the movie itself.
