Just as an aside, Gordon has a youtube channel where is he isn't playing the WWF bad guy for TV. He's way more watchable out of character.

Personally I'm not a fan. I think almost all TV Chefs are overrated and are well known for their personalities with their food being overrated.

Don't really like that he always yells at people. But I guess that is what you do on reality TV - you need to have a little drama.

In general you are right, Wolfgang Puck comes to mind.

But Ramsay is LEGIT. They don't give out Michelin Stars for being famous. And he SIXTEEN of them.

Gordon Ramsay is 90% a FOX creation on the over the top asshole levels. If you watched the uk nightmare shows, he's a lot more cool and calm as he calls someone a useless pile of shit.

He seems like a genuinely nice guy that turns the worst aspects of his personality up to 20 for entertainment. When is the last time he actually ran a restaurant, though? Just a bunch of places with his name on them.
