Gordon Ramsay at Chiefs Practice Today

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was at #Chiefs practice today. Huh... |
Use the cocktail sticks!
|
Did he call Erving a useless ****ing wanker
|
If only he'd been there to yell at the defense last year.
|
I'd pay good money to watch him berate Mahomes for putting ketchup on well done steak.
|
Is he related to Jalen Ramsey?
Suit him up! |
So that’s why Fisher is practicing...

This is god tier stuff
Gordon Ramsay is the GOAT |

https://www.caesars.com/harrahs-kans...k#.XcSInm5KiUk Personally I'm not a fan. I think almost all TV Chefs are overrated and are well known for their personalities with their food being overrated. Don't really like that he always yells at people. But I guess that is what you do on reality TV - you need to have a little drama. |

I'm hooked on watching master chef. Gordon is greatness!

Just as an aside, Gordon has a youtube channel where is he isn't playing the WWF bad guy for TV. He's way more watchable out of character.

In general you are right, Wolfgang Puck comes to mind. But Ramsay is LEGIT. They don't give out Michelin Stars for being famous. And he SIXTEEN of them. edit: annnnnd I see sapho beat me to this already. |
Gordon Ramsay is 90% a FOX creation on the over the top asshole levels. If you watched the uk nightmare shows, he's a lot more cool and calm as he calls someone a useless pile of shit.

They just sound less belligerent no matter how belligerent than actually are. |
He seems like a genuinely nice guy that turns the worst aspects of his personality up to 20 for entertainment. When is the last time he actually ran a restaurant, though? Just a bunch of places with his name on them.
|
I am not sure what he want's a cocktail stick for but give me one and some twine, I'd sew his mouth shut.

I saw one episode where he actually liked the food, it was kind of cool.

Can he play LB?

Would be impossible for his new place opening here to suck anymore than Fieris joint
|
I have never had a good meal in a KC area casino. Its like a revolving door restaurant opens in casino and 6 months later its closed down. We will see what Ramsey does but I am betting on failure.

Ive got reservations for Hells Kitchen on Tuesday night, so maybe thats why he was brushing up on his fandom. I mean, if he plays his cards right he might get to touch the tat.
|
Awesome!
Hopefully this starts some kind of beef between Gordon Ramsey and Guy Fieri (raiders fan) |

I didnot know this now I know why i didn't like him. |
Andy Reid secretly hates his ass for doing that cuisine nouveau bullshit where you pay $100 for 3 ounces of food on a large plate with some kind of weird jizz drizzle on top

However, Ramsay cooks up real food too, my man. His grilled burger approach is balls and his Shepherd's Pie sticks to the ribs. It's not 100% accurate to label Ramsay as a posh fusion gourmand. FAX |
I use his Air Fryer how-to videos on Youtube all the time....and Gordon Ramsay Burgr in Planet Hollywood in Vegas is awesome.
|
Anyone know why he was there? Was he in town to shoot a commercial with Mahomes? Mahomes putting ketchup on Ramsey's food would be a natural Heinz commercial. Could be a Super Bowl commercial.

Isle of Capri should franchise a Niecie's it would kill it in that place. My Late Father loved buffets I would always ask where he wanted eat on birthdays it was always buffets. He liked Ameristar and Argosy's buffets and Old Town buffets. |
So, this was just a visit from a famous chef who was in town to open a restaurant in a casino. Ok. Good stuff. I guess.
I mean, is he a Chiefs fan or something? |
his schtick over here is embellishing the 'yelling' angle.
His show on the BBC "The F Word" was a great show; way more entertaining. He would do apisodes where they would raise, say, chickens etc, then butcher then and create a nice meal; or lamb etc. He was big on 'honoring' the animal that is giving it's life for our food ; not sure if 'honor' was the right word,..but you get the idea. There was a lot of cool stuff like that involved with that show. Not sure if it's even on now, but we used to watch it all the time. my experience is 'most' recipes on line, or particularly the peronsality chefs...the food/ recipe is bland. and is simply a starting point that will require lots of adjustments to make it taste as good as they claim on their shows. the few celebrity type Chefs / food people where I like their recipes pretty much right out of the gate are Ramsay, Alton Brown, and Ree Drummon (Pioneer Woman). We made a chicken tortilla soup from PW 2 weekends ago, and it was legit. only made a few tiny adjustmets to up the heat a little, but otherwise a great recipe. Her mac and cheese is great too among others. My wife ate at Ramsay's place in Vegas; she said it was some of the best food she's ever had. I suspect his food here will be really good, however, I'm not sure what the prices will be. Likely so high that I'll probably never go unfortunately. Speaking of high end pricey restaruants in KC....Pierponts...I thought that place was average at best (and I'm being generous). Steak was 'good', but not $65 good; then had to buy sides. I got mac and cheese (some fancy version) and it was awful. bland, no taste; literally looked like plain noodles with cheese sprinkled on it. not even kidding. Maybe they had a bad night; but for that kind of money, I'm not going back to give them another shot. I think we dropped like $200+ that night for a special dinner. |
Let's be honest though. In places like casino restaurants, you're not paying for food made by Gordon Ramsey, you're paying for the marketing of having his name on the side of the building. Your food is gonna be cooked by pothead millennials trying to replicate a Gordon Ramsey recipe using cheap shitty sourced ingredients.
|
He probably knows nothing about football. "Which one is the goalie?".
|
If you really want to see his true personality watch Master Chef Junior he's positively angelic with those kids.
Also I would never cook a steak the way he does...until I did. Holy crap it was perfect. |

Gordon Ramsey is just another chef that will be gone and forgotten in a few years like all the others. He will be referred to as the chef that was generally an ass because most people will have forgotten his name.

I have never had any one beat my smoked, SV'd and blackened (pan seared in charcoal) ribeye, deep red in the center, bright red, leading into a dk. brown crispy edge brushed with butter. $55-60 each at home... Wouldn't pay, even in hell, for one in a restaurant. I do care about the Toffee pudding for desert so I may stop n for a Bailey's, Godiva, and espresso just to try the desert menu.
I'd like to see what Moore can actually do now that he's got Mahomes to fall back on. I think that he now knows how much to lead Hill and he certainly has Kelce's number he may be worth the watch. I think the guy (Moore) could pull out all the stops, help us win the game, and secure a back up position with Chiefs. Oh, and make the Tuna Fish regret disposing of him like a kids dead goldfish. Let him start the game but even if up by 20, put Mahomes in at the half, and if not doing well, put Mahomes in on 2nd series of downs. Matt Moore may have made possible for the Chiefs to have an extended season. He found that he has wings, let's give him a little flight time! |
