Probably depends on how confident they are he'll hold up. If they think he's fine, I think Parker is gone. If they think he'll continue to have to nurse his heel, I could see one of the younger guys getting the axe.

They dont need to release a player when Berry returns so, why would they?

My guess is that Shaw is the odd man out if/when Berry comes back. They won't cut Parker given what's happened with Berry this season. Jordan Lucas is a keeper.
