I don’t know that I’d describe it as “toxic”.

But spoiled/entitled? Absolutely.

I'm not up on the toxicity of other teams fan bases, but our fan base is toxic as ****.

Anyway there is no doubt he is pissed about not getting that extension and I think it is time for a parting of ways at this point.

Chris Jones missing practices and games because of a sore wrist and now “personal reasons”, Frank Clark admitting during his press conference today that he has been “looking ahead” to the postseason and has not been focused, and now this bullshit.

Just compare/contrast the accountability by Mahomes this week vs the defensive “leadership”… Mahomes is locked in and committed to turning things around while the defensive “leaders” are MIA, making excuses or are crying like bitches.

Here’s a fun game I just participated in. Go to a teams Twitter page. Look at a recent post. Read all the comments. Every single Twitter fan base is toxic, it’s not just chiefs. Really Twitter is just toxic, it’s a horrid awful place and if I was an athlete you can guarantee I’d never be on it.

If you have not chased it down and read the entire thing on Instagram you should. Badger and Hitchens are totally dogging this fanbase. Saying they don't really care if they play here or not that they are too good and too smart not to get paid. How fans need to show appreciation or shut up.
I am left wondering if Clark, Veach, or Andy will say something to them about this type of behavior towards fans. Those fans will be here long after these guys have left.

Love Hitchens talking about the team’s accomplishments while he has been here. The 2018 defense was historically bad, and this one might be worse and Hitchens was on both of them. He need to reflect on that. It's not him that led us anywhere and it was his 2018 defense that cost us a shot at the SB.

Guys like Neimann, Sorensen, and even Clark get drug way worse than either of these clowns and you don’t see them going after the fanbase on social media…they’re just looking for it.

This team seems to be falling apart. I don’t have much confidence that they’ll make the playoffs at this point. I hope I’m wrong. It’s also pretty sad that Hitchens wants to use past success to justify underperforming this season. If I recall they are all still getting paid on a game by game basis for this season only.

This feels like a pretty nasty collapse if this is the attitude going on in the locker room. Maybe not shared by everyone, but when Matthieu/Hitchens are doing this and Clark/Jones are practically mailing it in, it's bad news.

He can definitely kiss any hopes of an extension with the chiefs goodbye. There’s no way they can bring him back after he trashed the fans.
