I searched and didn't see this posted anywhere, sorry if it's a Q. This showed up in my Youtube feed and it's one of the better Chiefs videos I've seen lately. Very well done and well worth your time to watch it.

Could you imagine Poe next to Jones on this line?

And I was there that night in the front row on the 50 yard line, sitting next to the wonderful Mr GBlowfish and his lovely bride.

It was glorious!

Not the greatest play. Not even a top 10. Just my opinion.

With all due respect to Poe and his time here, that play isnt better than Jamaal Charles 15th best play as a chief. Id put several punt returns ahead of that play, most tyreek highlights and literally Mahomes entire freak highlight real from last year ahead of it.

Take any random Dante Hall play and it's better than that play if you want to demoralize the Broncos.

This one was the one that immediately came to my mind.

65 toss power trap.

Not even close. My list in no particular order.

• 65 Toss Power Trap
• OT's sideline TD catch in Super Bowl IV
• Mahomes scrambling TD throw to Conley vs. 49ers last year. That's when I knew we had something special
• Mahomes 4th and 9 completion to Hill last year vs. Ravens
• Hall's punt return TD against the Donkeys in 2003
• Keith Cash TD catch and spike on Buddy Ryan poster in Houston

Just off the top of my head.

Vanover's punt return versus the Chargers in overtime on a Monday night comes to mind. He wasn't as quick as Tyreek Hill, but he had incredible top speed.

James Hasty's INT in OT vs Raiders wasn't too shabby either.

That was pure magic.

Knile Davis 97 yd KO return for TD against the Texans on the opening KO in the playoffs also comes to mind.

Steve Bono's 76 yard bootleg TD against the Cardinals.

Eric Berry's 100 yard INT against Atlanta on the 2 point conversion to flip the game.

Louis Aguilar fake punt/pass.
Steve Bono TD run against Arizona.
Eric berry pick 2.
Etc.

Edit: somehow scho and I had 2 of the same.

Tyreek Hil's TD against Dallas 3 years ago at the end of the 1st half when he caught it at the Dallas 40-45 and evaded 5 Cowboys with only 3 Chiefs blocking.

But still nothing really beats Derrick Thomas knocking the snot out of John Elway.

We lost that game on the last play as Kreig avoided the sack and passed for TD, so it kills the excitement of 7 sacks.

it is the play that broke the Broncs... We've dominated them since...

I remember sitting with my BIL watching the draft and it came to our pick. I turned to him and said "If we ****ing pick Poe this remote is going through my TV". I didn't throw my remote through the tv and I turned out to be completely wrong about him. He greatly exceeded all of my expectations and if he wouldn't have had back problems I think he would have had a couple All-Pro seasons.

One of my favorite plays for sure.

The Tyreek td where the fans all started chanting his name then he took it back for what i believe ended up being the game winner.

I was at that game and still remember DT sliding of Kreig before he threw the winning TD....

There has NEVER been a more perfect "Because Chiefs" moment that I can recall until Dee ****ing Offsides Ford killed our SB appearance last year.

Well, I wouldn't call it that, either. But this kind of thing is always subjective anyway.

Backed up to their own 3, OT's sideline catch of Len's throw FROM 8 YARDS DEEP IN THE ENDZONE in the last AFLCG. In the Oakland- Alameda Coliseum. Covered about 40 yards.

The game was hanging in the balance, the Raiders front four were rushing ferociously and Hank and Len and Otis let it all hang out. Otis had stepped OB prior to the catch but too bad for the raiders.

That was the biggest and greatest play (IMO) in Chiefs history.

the OP probably was using a play on words meaning Great as Large since he said over and over how big Poe is.

Most of us wouldn't remember it, and maybe field goals are not allowed in a greatest play discussion, but imagine watching Tommy Brooker kick the winning field goal in double overtime of the AFL championship game. That would be huge.

The most meaningful play in Chiefs history would have to be Otis Taylor's touchdown in the Super Bowl. It sealed the win and was aesthetically beautiful.

I may be biased right now, but the Mahomes to Hill pass on 4th and 8 would have to be high up on the list of greatest plays. Very, very high. I'll have to think about the contenders.

While I hold very little nostalgia for the players, Grbac to Rison on MNF in the last seconds to win the game against the Raiders was one of my favorite plays.

To equal that but probably my favorite vs Raiders is Marcus Allen 100th rushing TD against his former team and the camera turns to Al Davis and you can read his lips F U D G E but he didn't say fudge he said ****

That may have been my loudest living room cheer ever, just because it was so unexpected.

No, wait. Probably the Derrick Johnson TD return against the Titans in the playoffs where Marcus Peters forced the last-second fumble was louder. If I ever meet Jeff Triplette I'm going to seduce his daughter and then break her heart.

Um...Im pretty sure this is the Greatest Play in Chiefs History...and its not even close.

Hard to believe that Dontari Poe is still only 29 years old.

Back injuries are the worst, man. At 24 years old he looked like he could be one of the best DTs to play in the last 25 years. Then he has a disc issue and 3 years later he's essentially a rotational lineman.

That was a fun dude until he was just sad.

I was at that game and we made bets before the kick, I won $200...

Amazing how different the game is.

A 54 yarder back then seemed to be as much of a long-shot as a 60 yarder now.

Butker hit that 54 yarder Sunday and I was pleased but not shocked. Hell, I didn't even feel like he got all of it and it would've probably cleared from 57 or so.

Pete put every bit of ass he had into that kick and it doesn't make it from 55. And he was a pretty damn good kicker for the era.

Would love to find the video, but no time.


The play was DT's sack of Jeff George in the end zone for a safty.
Great because he called it before the play and he was DT!
