Butker has to play next week

Dude will have had 5 weeks for swelling to go down. We just can’t trot out these off the street kickers anymore, especially for a game that’s this important.

Butker even came back that same game and was kicking with that injury. And we can always have Justin Reid kick the kickoffs out of the end zone so Butker won’t even need to jog during the game.

It’s time. Need him back badly

Street kicker with that clutch 59 yarder tho.

Gary Cooper 10-10-2022 09:32 PM

At this point, I wouldn't mind Pete Stoyanovich coming in for a few games.

Yeah as long as he's not Ammendola, barefoot, or Nameless, I'm good with the sub for now. I say let Butker get right as rain. I don't even want a twitch in that ankle come playoff time.

TomBarndtsTwin 10-10-2022 09:34 PM

Meh.

I want the win, but we’re 4-1 and 2-0 in the division and this is a regular season game. The win tonight was much more important than next week. I’d rather see Buttkicker fully healthy before they get him back on the field for a game. We’ll need him at 100% for down the stretch.

I wanna beat the Bills but if we don’t it won’t be the end of the world. We’ll get ‘em in the playoffs just like always . . . . .

Probably dealing with that back injury still.

Wouldn't have needed to make it if he made the easy one.

Eleazar 10-10-2022 09:35 PM

If butker isn’t ready they just need to amputate and give him one of those blade runner things

Pitt Gorilla 10-10-2022 09:37 PM

Agreed. Along with Tre Smith, Trent McDuffie, and Willie Gay.

But missed a 41 and got bailed out on his 37 yard miss. His stats say 1 for 2 but was really 1 for 3.

We would have no losses if he didn't get injured.

He needs to make all of them. Getting paid 6 figures to kick a ball through two poles... do it.

Dude, Harris has beasted at LB. And Watson has done pretty good at CB. First game back going against the Bills will be tough for McDuffie.....

Wouldn't say he got bailed out. That was a clear penalty. Definitely saved him from embarrassment but it's not like they made up a reason to throw a flag.
