September 12 Bill Williamson ESPN
It was late in training camp and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel was meeting with the media. Just as Cassel was being asked his thoughts about new Chiefs offensive coordinator Charlie Weis' comments that he was going to “fix” Cassel, Weis scooted by on a golf cart. Weis glanced at his new project as he cruised by, and though Cassel didn’t look toward his coach, he surely felt his presence. Cassel became a household NFL name in 2008 when he took the helm in New England after Tom Brady's season-ending knee injury. He played in an offense Weis designed, and that's why he wasn't offended by the idea that he needed fixing. |
"They started too strong last year and peaked too early, they were a super bowl team in the first half. This year they are saving thier best for last and are going to take the league by storm :) "

The only problem with this line is that in saying this, KnowLittle would be forced to admit that last year's collapse was somehow not a part of McDaniels' master plan. |
