Hope this is all true, it makes a ton of sense. Sounds like Ford will likely be tagged, as Rapoport says they would like to keep him somehow.

Yeah. These are so obvious that it'd be way more concerning if this wasn't the direction we went in. Now I'm a bit curious what we do with Houston. He's been playing well enough recently that a restructure likely isn't in the cards anymore unless he's feeling very generous.

The reason I’m particularly pleased with this is La Canfora said something last week about them leaning against tagging Ford, which makes zero sense to me.

Hey, never assume an NFL franchise will make the obvious, wise moves. I more or less figured we'd be doing these things but it feels good to hear it reported.

When Ford was drafted, I recalled him saying something to the effect of wanting to be a Chief for life, I think he will ecstatic to stay here to be honest. Tyreek has also embraced living in Kansas City, and don't see any reason why he would be hard headed about money etc. Plus he's got a young kid, KC is a good place to raise a family.

I would think all 3 would be more than happy to re-up, basically because of the Mahomes effect and playing for championships year after year. :)
