Idiotic hypocrites whining about coach Reid

What's really funny to me is that most people bitching about "taking the ball out of our best playmakers hands", are the ones that bitch about clock management and scoring too quickly/not running the ball to run clock. If we throw the ball there and Hill/Kelce take it to the house and then Lamar scores on our shit defense, then you idiots are bitching that we threw it too much, scored too quickly and didn't run it enough.

We had 1:24 left, all 3 timeouts, and had already made it to the Ravens 32 yd line. We were running our offense and ran it on 2nd and 3 burn some clock and try to get the 1st down. He wasn't trying to settle for a 50ish yard FG and I guarantee he doesn't run that ball even if it's 3rd and 1.

Just look at the how much time was on the game clock when we got the ball on the last drive 3:14. We were clearly running down as much clock as possible and ran only 2 plays in 1:14 of game time to the 2 minute warning. We pass it after the 2 minute warning and for the first time that drive we had a 2nd down. We run it, so that we can for sure get the clock down to 45ish seconds before the next play, but an incomplete pass stops the clock with around 1:10. If we don't convert 2nd and 3 the clock still runs and then we have 3rd down to pass it. An incomplete pass on 3rd down stops the clock, but since we ran it the play before there is only around 30 seconds left and then we kick the FG and Baltimore gets the ball with 1 time out and 15 - 20 sec left or no timeouts and 45 - 50 seconds. An incompletion on 2nd and then 3rd gives Baltimore over a minute with a timeout left. Andy knew the D wasn't stopping them and didn't want them to get the ball with any time if we don't convert there. He just didn't expect Clyde to have his first fumble there.

Its different with Mahomes dude.

How did we beat the Browns in the playoffs, we let our backup QB throw a ball to get the first down.

With Mahomes on the field I'm even more confident to keep the ball in his hands

I'm fine if people disagree with the decision through an objective lens, where they try to be honest with themselves and say, "I didn't like the choice to run the ball in the first place."

But the whining from a few people who have been and possibly currently are Reid detractors is all about them finally finding an excuse to commence some Reid bashing that they've been deprived of for many years.

These are the same idiots and assholes who said stuff in 2019 like, "He's got this one chance or else he needs to go!!!" It started with them listening to all the inbred single-digit IQ Eagles fans who hated Reid's ass and they're convinced they've always been right.

Whoever these morons think would be a better head coach, whether that be someone currently on staff or otherwise probably doesn't win as much as we did with Alex and the team surrounding him. And while Mahomes would be great, it's pretty debatable if they'd make him as good of a player as Reid has in terms of setting him up for success.

But I'll betcha we'd have a better CLOCK MANAGEMENT!!!!! guy. That is, until he has a few clock screw-ups like EVERY FREAKING head coach does (even Belichick). Then we'd be in the exact same position.

The team loves Reid. He unites the locker room. He's among the best in the NFL in bringing the best out of his players. Few players leave the Chiefs and go on to have much better careers elsewhere.

He messed up some things. So did Mahomes. The defense definitely did. And CEH was a total screw up. Big deal. Shut up and move on. When we start losing 6, 7, 8 games, then we'll talk.

You didn't read the post. You can't bitch about Andy scoring too quick and then whine when he tries to run clock.

I'm not.

All I'm saying is that in watching this team under Mahomes, when they need a first down they have all sorts of plays to Kelce or Hill, or Mahomes just runs for it.

I always want us to be aggressive with Patrick, especially if we're losing. That is my play. If we lose that way, well, after a half century of waiting we have finally have a superstar in Patrick Mahomes, and most of the time, we're going to win by trusting him.

I don't care if we score too quickly with Patrick. I have never complained about that with him, not even in the AFC Championship. Because then the pressure immediately goes back to the opposing team to score. And sure, the Ravens had just scored twice, but that last drive took seven minutes. I feel way better up 43-36 or even 41-36 with Lamar being tasked to use his arm to lead his team 75 yards with one minute left and one timeout than I do trusting Butker to a 50 yard field goal with 20 seconds left or what have you.

My support will always be to trust Patrick to lead us to win, even if it doesn't work out, because most of the time, it will.

Great point and overlooked by many.

No fumble, no issue. I get that.

I love Andy Reid and am stoked he is our coach but he or any other coach is not above criticism.
